I didn't choose a song, simply because I think they're pretty much ALL amazing.

All four albums 'Expeience' , 'Music For The Jilted Generation' , 'Fat Of The Land' and 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' all have some simply amazing CHOONS.

Charly #03 (11 Weeks on chart)

Out Of Space #05 (14 Weeks on chart)

No Good (Start The Dance) #04 (14 Weeks on chart)

Firestarter #01 (30 weeks on chart)

I can't be bothered adding more.

Spitfire is AAMAZE too.

THOUGHTS?

Ah, the Prodigy. I remember 'Charly' appearing in the top 10 like it was yesterday and they were one of my favourite bands for ages. Adored the singles off of 'Experience' and played the whole lot to death.

I went off them a bit when 'Jilted' first came out but when i saw them play live at Glastonbury on the TV I was converted back again immediately and bought a ticket for T in the Park to see them the next day. I think it was 'Poison' coming out as a single that really got me 100% back into them as I thought 'No Good' was cheesy and 'Voodoo People' just a mess.

Then saw them about four times in two years around the time of 'Fat of the Land'. Still like the stuff from around this time although 'Breathe' has dated very badly.

They found it hard to come back after that and 'Baby's Got a Temper' must rank as their worst single by miles. Then 'Girls', 'Spitfire' etc. brought them up to date...albeit still a shadow of what they were.

I saw them at this year's T in the Park a few weeks ago...if anything they're heading in a more metal direction than ever and only played a short version of 'Out of Space' at the end.

Wouldn't surprise me if they came back with a largely metal sound on any new material...kinda like Pendulum but without the emo / mariachi weird sound they've come out with recently.

excellant band... there early stuff is some of the earliest dance i got into... 'no good (start the dance)' in particular, superb beat that you just cant sit still too! not keen on 'post firestarter' material though

Spitfire  Tis like my FAVE atm.

I really do like "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" atm.

Memphis Belle, Medusa's Path and You'll Be Under My Wheels

I remember hearing 'Out of Space' and it was like nothing I'd ever heard before, it was one of the songs that got me into rave music along with Opus III's 'It's A Fine Day' and SL2's 'On A Ragga Tip'!

They're an amazing band, especially their early stuff. I think their albums get progressively not as good as they go on, but they've made some huge classics, and all their albums have some amazing songs on.

Next week they're re-releasing 'Experience' and 'Music For The Jilted Generation' as digitally remastered versions with a bonus disc of extra songs!

Wish I hadn't paid so much for them in the past now...the 2-disc 'Experience' has been out in the US for a few years but this version has two extra songs, 'Android' and a live version of 'Out of Space'!

amazing band.

i saw them live 3 times in 3 different periods.i think i was really lucky about it.

i still remember their amazing performance in V97.almost mindblowing.

I would have to say 'Music For The Jilted Generation' is the best album with 'Out of Space' as the best song, although most their stuff is absolutly amazing.

Can't beat a bit of The Prodge! My personal favorite is 'One Love'. Sounds a wee bit dated (it is 15 years old after all), but it's just so insanely fast! Can't not but move to it! Love the first 2 albums, the first for the heavenly piano rave tracks like "Wind It Up" and "Your Love" and the 2nd for bloody great tracks like 'No Good' and 'Poison'.

I went off them when 'Firestarter' started their whole dance/rock sound (a sound I've never been into), not that it was a bad track and was certainly a refreshing number one. I liked '...b**ch Up' aswell.

I didn't like their last album though and dear god 'Baby's Gotta Temper' was a bad'un!
