Posted June 3, 200619 yr Source: Mardy-Bum So I'm sure we can guarantee you've all seen (and are probably practising) the infamous Robo-Crouch celebratory dance. Here at Mardy-Bum.com we were looking for an excuse to post about this historic milestone when suddenly... we didn't need to. According to most of the English press, Crouch's Robot was inspired by Arctic Monkeys' 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor' and when he first performed the dance at the Beckhams' Pre-World Cup Party, it was during the song and more exact, to the line 'Dancing to electro-pop like a robot, from 1984'. Since then, Crouch did the robot after he scored the winner for England against Hungary earlier this week and then did it the following day in front of the whole squad (and a someone called Prince Harry) whilst training. SPREAD THE WORD. WOW! I had no idea that it was done to I Bet You Look Good... :o *must resist doing it when it comes on in a club* All the more reason to appreciate my avatar :dancing:
June 3, 200619 yr Its looking like Crouchmania is gonna go global now! , with the world cup coming up and if he continues to score surely he's gonna be giving away the orogin of his dance which can only help the Arctics.
June 4, 200619 yr Author And just as importantly help England in the World Cup :dancing: :cheer: Maybe if we win it with him scoring in the final it'll climb back up the chart
