Did you all get an email with a link to download or something?

I got an email to say that I'd get an email, but I still haven't got one. I'm so pi$$ed off!!!

Ignore this comment, I managed to get it through logging in on their website :D

And Josh, you can get it from their website -_-

Is it free or pay download? If it's pay I'll just wait for physical...

Pay. Well you can either...

Get the download for £5

Pre order the physical for £8

Get both for £10

:D

I'm not overly impressed with this.

:o How does anyone NOT like this album?

I think it's perfect, there's only one bit I don't like:

The key change at the end of One Month Off

My favourite two are Biko and Ares

I love them all really though. Do parts of Zephyrus remind anyone else of that "Florette" advert? Or is that just me?

Trojan Horse and One Month Off are my favourites,

It's SOOO much better than the bore-fest that was A Weekend In The City.

i havent heard it yet, i have been to busy seeing it live at a festival :kink:
I dunno what to make of the album yet. I've only listened to it once in the full and it didn't really do much for me. I've listened to the odd tracks seperately, and i'm giving it a full listen again at the moment, and it's sounding better already tbh. Not too sure about their new sound yet though... I can't make up whether I prefer their older sound of their new one which definitely has a sort of futuristic tone to it imo.
I prefer their new sound! It's really creative (they remind me of an Rock/ish type version of N*E*R*D).

One of the albums of the year for me.

Me too

Love the new album. Especially "Halo" "Trojan Horse" and "One Month Off"

"Biko" is the best song they've ever done imo. Absolutely wonderful. New album is better than "Weekend In The City" but still doesn't touch the greatness of "Silent Alarm".

Reviews I've read so far haven't exactly been glowing. 'Tunes wanted not pointless sounds' seems an appropriate way to sum up the reaction.

And is Kele really as nasty as people say he is? Not that his personality ought to detract from the wonderful music he's making. :)

^^ Most of the reviews I've read are positive. I've not seen one bad review.

i've seen mixed reviews.

and is that Kele on the cover?

im not sure i like the cover to be honest.

Reminds me a little of the old Suede debut album cover for some reason.

Just given it my first listen...not bowled over...but then I didn't think a lot of 'Silent Alarm' until around my 3rd listen. Could have potential.

I wondered if it was Kele as well

I'm not overly keen on the cover. I really liked the covers for the first two albums.

I like how they have themes though - Mercury had the square photo in the middle and plain background too, although that was grey.

This one looks a bit bare tbh
