I think you're reading for too much into it Kelly, there are a lot of similarities but this video is VERY Sophie-Mullerish, its got her style written all over it, she directed the 'Hips Don't Lie' amongst others, there similarities in the two imo :D

 

This is her first RnB artist-based video and put an aim of making it look different and classy to the norm hence the result. Sophie Muller is also directing Beyoncé's 2nd single - "Ring The Alarm" which was shot Friday/Saturday in New York.

mate get your eyes tested, she IS NOT miming. She does dosnt sing the chorus because she's dancing them.

And to dance and sing the big notes at the same time is brilliant

The song is still a ropey attempt to recreate Crazy In Love IMHO.

I think she's done better performances, and it looks like she's spazzing out in the middle of the first video. DV is a second rate CIL imo, but the album is rather good :o

im sorry but that performance is quite possibly the most laughable performance i have EVER seen... :lol: its definately her worst, the dancing is messy and the vocals are pre-recorded badly!!!! <_<

i love it :heart: she also done it on Monday during her live Acoustics and it sounded :heart:
