I would personally really like that, if only because a lot of the winners/most successful songs of some countries might be viewed as incredibly cheap now because they have become big hits in the time since they did well in the contest - e.g. Mercy, Love Song, I Kissed A Girl etc...

That's could be because it was the smallest contest, so there was less choice. :P But it's still my favourite winner, except my own. :kink:

 

As for us picking our favourite of our entries, I don't know. Some countries have performed consistently well and have more than one song deserving of a place in this thing. I'd rather have three memorable entries by Mdice in 'Congratulations' than one entry (or two since he's won that many times) from them as it's more representative of the 10 contests.

 

I'm interested in seeing how this works actually. We probably wont be permitted to vote for ourselves as usual but it could be harder this time with some countries likely to have more than one entry. I'm not sure how nominations will work either - will it be our favourite songs of the contest or ones that we feel 'represented' that contest? Those are two different things for more as some of my favourites flop. -_-

I would have thought all the winners should be enterred otherwise the contest doesn't really represent the best of the best. I'd suggest each countries highest finishing song should be enterred but then we'd lose one of Mdice's winners

But I don't really think that's representative of a 'best of' of the BJSC because some countries should be in it more than once and others don't really have any entries 'worthy' of being in this. Apart from my winning song, my next best result is 11th and I wouldn't expect a song that finished 11th to be part of a 'best of' contest.

 

I think we should wait for the details to be revealed before we start deciding what we go and don't want anyway.

Changes to Gigi D'Alessio's Promotional Tour

 

After three successful performances in FNT Nickodonia, Rontvia and Allecian, some changes to the tour of Herzebanian entry Gigi D'Alessio have been made since the draws for the semi-finals have been made. Instead of travelling to FSR Farahtyn, the singer will travel to neighbouring Bokia instead. The performance in Faztickle has been moved two days forward to September 9th and been replaced with a new date in Tapatilandia.

 

Gigi D'Alessio would like to apologise for the cancelled performances in Kylienips, Farahtyn and Kopecka, who are in semi-final 2, but promises to perform in these countries for free next week should he make the final.
