Cockney luck. I'm sure most Spurs supporters will admit they shouldn't have got anything out of the Arsenal and Liverpool games based on the balance of play!
November 6, 200816 yr Oh my god mate it was ridiculous. I was meeting some people which I arranged before I realised what game was on (IDIOT) so I said to myself I'd leave at a two goal cushion (actually before the match I said to my flatmate 'It'll probably be four-nil by halftime anyway' - whoops!) so I actually got out my chair at 3-1 and then suddenly it was 3-2, then seconds later 4-2, so I left. In a way I'm glad I did but least expected comeback ever? Yes.
November 6, 200816 yr This thread has gone very quiet ;) Last 4 games under Harry Spurs 2 Bolton 0 Arsenal 4 Spurs 4 Spurs 2 Liverpool 1 Spurs 2 Zagreb 0 HT Because Redknapp is x100+ better than Ramos. And to think people were saying Ramos was going to be a success :heehee:
November 7, 200816 yr In a way I'm glad I did but least expected comeback ever? Yes. Nah - they were losing 4-1 to Villa last year with 20 minutes left. That ended 4-4 as well.
November 7, 200816 yr Because Redknapp is x100+ better than Ramos. And to think people were saying Ramos was going to be a success :heehee: And to top it all off Darren Bent is the highest goalscorer in England this season ^_^
November 9, 200816 yr And to top it all off Darren Bent is the highest goalscorer in England this season ^_^ Another brace for him today in their 1-2 victory against Man City. I'll say it again when you consider what Spurs paid for Bent; Liverpool paid for Keane & what Man Utd paid for Berbatov, there is no question in my mind that Manchester United have got mugged spending double what that lazy, sulking sloth is worth (the new Ruud Van Nisterooy --- don't make my laugh) whom could easily cost them winning the Premiership this season.

Yeah Bent has got more goals this season in all competitions than Berbs and Keano COMBINED Those 2 cost Utd and Pool £51m, Bent cost us 1/3 of that
November 9, 200816 yr Fair play to Harry Redknapp - isn't that from 2 points to 12 in the space of what, 2 weeks?

November 10, 200816 yr At least Wenger can take comfort that Arsenal are the only team Spurs didn't actually BEAT! lol

November 12, 200816 yr umm... congratulations? it's not as if ramos' exit was ridiculously obvious or anything
November 12, 200816 yr ahahah who said he were the new RVN? no one has. How about Sir Alex Ferguson back in December 2007 on MUTV. Replacing Ruud: Is Berbatov heading for Man U? Alex Ferguson needs a striker to fill the void left by Ruud van Nistelrooy at Manchester United—and Bhavik Kshatriya says Dimitar Berbatov may just be the man for the job. by Bhavik Kshatriya (Scribe) Bleacher Report World Soccer.com December 31, 2007 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Best Reason To Love Football The Perfect Target. The Perfect Technician. The Finisher. Need I say more? Ever since Ruud van Nistelrooy left Manchester United, the Red Devils have struggled to find the right man to fill the void. A number of candidates have been mentioned—including Alessandro Del Piero, David Trezeguet, Nicolas Anelka, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Dimitar Berbatov. But with the chances of the Juventus players grown rather dim and Adebayor deciding not to look United's way, Berbatov and Anelka are the only ones still in the running. Both players have similar skill sets—but Alex Ferguson in a recent interview on MUTV when asked who'd he'd most like as a Christmas present seems to favor Berbatov. Why? I don't think I'd be wrong to say it's because Berbatov reminds Sir Alex of Ruud van Nistelrooy. The similarities between the two are numerous. The only difference is that one is a perfectionist while the other will take whatever he can get. I'll even go as far as to say that Berbatov would be the perfect striker to fill Ruud's shoes. Sir Alex says this is the best side he's had in his managing career—but just imagine Berbatov banging in the kind of goals Nistelrooy used to deliver. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personally I disagree, as I always felt Ruud Van Nisterooy was a much better player as proved by his prolific goalscoring elsewhere at Real Madrid.

November 12, 200816 yr NEVER have I been as disgraced watching a game on television as I was tonight. First half was probably the worst i've ever seen Liverpool play. Aside from Agger, no-one looked like they could be arsed (OK it's the Carling Cup, but still, you could at least look like you're interested). You could tell Rafa couldn't give a stuff either... taking off Torres (although he wasn't fit) for a defender. Degen and Dossena must never wear the red shirt of Liverpool again. They were fukking dreadful... woeful infact. It says something when their 19 and 21 replacements looked at least twice the players they were. And absolutely typical too. Gomes fakes his own death with the help of our calamitious right back and gets a get out of jail free card. How Mike Riley didn't give a penalty for that i'll never know. He can't spot a penalty from 10 yards away, but he can a handball. :D Absolute t***. urghh I never thought the Carling Cup would get me so annoyed.
November 12, 200816 yr If Tottenham Hotspur want to get excited about a mickey mouse competition like "The Worthless Cup" © Sir Alex Ferguson, then good luck to them. I'd much rather Liverpool get knocked out of this concentrate and focus their attention on the Premiership & The Champions League. PS. Well done to Burnley, but I expect Chelsea supporters are about as likely to have sleepless nights as Liverpool supporters tonight.

Well done to Burnley, but I expect Chelsea supporters are about as likely to have sleepless nights as Liverpool supporters tonight. I don't give a damn about the Carling Cup, and Spurs can celebrate like they've won the World Cup for all I care, as it's the most worthless competition going (it's a passage into Europe I guess...) but the performances from some of the players tonight have pissed me off so much. These are the some of the guys that are meant to be challenging for 1st team places. God help us if Reina ever gets injured. Roll on the 24th May though. :D Can't wait to play Spurs again and hopefully batter them this time well and truly. Even though Burnley beat Chelsea at home, i'm still gonna bet the Liverpool and Tottenham games gets equal coverage as the media seem to have some Harry Redknapp love affair, and they'll probably diss zonal marking and rotation at the same time whilst they are at it, when they really have no clue at all...
