August 24, 200816 yr Well done The Veronicas, that is amazing! :D 4 top 10 singles off this album, and 3 places higher than their last single peaked.
August 24, 200816 yr bland song from Delta, the first single of hers not to make the top 20 of my chart...she's really gone down with this album...this is her second single in a row not to make the top ten in Oz
August 24, 200816 yr It didn't make Top 10 because she only performed it once, because she's busy in America. For a song with only a live/backstage video it's done rather well. ^_^ It's also got the album back into the Top 35 despite already being 3x platinum. I personally find the Delta to album to be much, much better than Mistaken Identity (haven't heard the debut). It's incredible from start to finish, and the first 3 singles from it are the best 3 of Delta's career. Brave Face for fifth and final single please. :D
August 24, 200816 yr Oh i really like the new Delta track to be honest, her physical sales are still alive and kicking this week - she debuts at #1 on the physical chart :o Great for Kid Rock, was always gonna happen really, though interesting he's not top 2 in either the download or physical chart which is quite rare. Another great debut for Pink, if they get the physical out soon itll be her 4th #1 there i reckon (her new album will easily reach #1 there).

Brave Face for fifth and final single please. :D Believe Again and In This Life were brilliant but I didn't think much of the last two singles...Possessionless is the only other excellent song for me on Delta, whereas I liked all bar 1 song on Mistaken Identity (wasn't keen on Miscommunication) and I liked every song on Innocent Eyes although I agree that Brave Face would make a very good single choice, far better than the last two singles anyway if it was picked

August 24, 200816 yr No way on earth is Delta a patch on the brilliant Mistaken Identity, it's patchy and safe in comparison. She should have released 'Brave Face' as this single though.
August 24, 200816 yr It's not 'safe' in the slightest :heehee: No way could you call an album with the reggae-influenced bopping electropop of You Will Only Break My Heart, cold and synthesised regretfulness of Bare Hands or dreamy and grand strings of Believe Again 'safe'. That comment just baffles me, literally. Mistaken Identity is alright but it lacks joy and it lacks any big hooks, really.
August 25, 200816 yr ^ Mistaken Identity is an amazing album, it's deep, it's gritty, it's everything she was going through when she had cancer, it was and is an amazing album.

That comment just baffles me, literally. Mistaken Identity is alright but it lacks joy and it lacks any big hooks, really. MI would lack joy considering when she wrote it...and there are amazing hooks in Electric Storm, Last Night On Earth, Mistaken Identity, Out Of The Blue, The Analyst and other tracks 'Delta' isn't that safe, and is experimental in places as you say Jark, but it does have one too many a bland ballad on there...Angels In The Room, Woman (which sounds like a Westlife production), I Can't Break It To My Heart and The Guardian are all quite boring in comparison to the standard of the ballads on the previous two albums I have enjoyed many of the b-sides from this era though. Take Me Home, Fortune and Love, Breathe In Breathe Out and Fever are all excellent and should have been on the album in place of the 4 tracks I mentioned above (and One Day)...then I would love the album
August 28, 200816 yr I can't believe some of you are saying I Can't Break It To My Heart isn't very good!! I think it's the best song on 'Delta' and is up there with 'Not Me, Not I' & 'Lost Without You' as one of her best ballads to date!!! 'Delta' is also on par with 'Mistaken Identity' (which was brilliant) in terms of quality. It's a shame there won't be another single release off this album most likely, unless it get's a re-release in January when the tour kicks off! If that happens she should record 1 or 2 new songs for it and release a 5th & final single :) My personal pick would be "New song/Bare Hands" as a double A side. That would be a fantastic finish to such an awesome album IMO Edited August 28, 200816 yr by girlsaloudjunkie
