I don't know how I am. I've been thinking of going to Europe next year, for ending my High School. I've always wanted to go away from here, I'd like to study what I want and where I want, so I'd need to have extremely good marks, and I think I can't find that here. But a friend of mine (I have two FRIENDS, and one doesn't know that) is trying to make me stay here, so I don't know what to do. What would you do?

 

I thought the same, since I started school, you stop posted so much. Everyday, when I come, I always want to read your interesting conversations, but you don't have them (or are on Croatian xD). I'd try to post here as much as I can, but it's going to be really difficult; I have school, and I'm going to start my french and english classes, so I won't have much time for Internet.

I understand how you must feel because many teenagers here feel the same. They all want to go to a university that's not in their own town to become independent, have fun and live the students' life...

If you want to go to Europe that bad, especially since it's because of your education, you should if you can (I mean if you can afford it and your parents let you). We were offered those programs at school, too... finish the last year of high school in the US or England... I think it's a wonderful opportunity if you're ready for it because it doesn't just mean to pack your things and go...

It could be hard for you (for anyone) to start fresh in another country, to get used to everything... You'd definitely find new friends but I think the last year of high school is extremely important and you should finish it there. It would be a shame not to finish high school with all your friends you've known so long...

 

I'd be in dilemma as well but I think I'd choose to stay where I am and finish with my class.

 

 

yup, since you've gone back to school nothing's been the same :( My classes will start in a few weeks as well so I won't be online as much either. I used to hang out here every day even on school days but those days are over :lol:

yes he was a drug addict. Don't know if he was on drugs for the last few years/months... but I doubt that was the cause of his death since he died at 4am... I doubt he was out partying... Although who knows :wacko: He was the only famous honest person here and was a genius musician :(

 

I'm just sorry for his family :( Imagine how it must be for his mother, to lose a husband and a son in 6 months :cry:

I feel that way too. I have to go in 10 days. And I dont know if Im prepared for that. Im so happy, and I love Zagreb and I love my uni, but Ill be alone after 20 years. And its killing me. I already called all of my friends to come to visit me and I know that they wont, cause there wont be time. They all have their own unis, and boyfriends and work and stuff to deal with. I just hope that Ill meat someone nice and someone who'll become my friend. And if that doesnt happen I always have internet and you. I wont be here so much, but at least I can say something and someone will read it sooner or later.

 

 

edit. They say he died cause his heart stopped and his dad died the same way. but if you ask me. Well his dad way an alcoholic and he was a drug addict and all of that infects your veins and arteries and heart so.

awwww amiga you know I'll visit you when I come to Zagreb!!!!!! :cry: The sad thing is I always come only for a day and you can't do much in a day in a big city like Zagreb :(

My friend invited me to come for holidays this winter or whenever :wacko: I'm not sure if I'm going because I'll be busy with uni and all, and will have to save money for more important things... but if I come there, expect a call from me :friends:

:thinking: I've been thinking at it a lot. I'd like to go to USA or UK, but I can't. My parents don't have enoguh money for that, and I'd never become a scholarship because they earn too much. The only possibility I have is going to Madrid. My sis is there, so I won't be alone, and a friend I had is there, too. That's not exactly what I want, I'd like to forget all I have here (except one friend :heart: ) and starting somewhere else a new life. I think I told you I don't have a specially happy life here. In the Internet, I always try to be much nicer, but in my everyday life is normal, for example, that I don't laugh. I normally too serious, the only thing I have are studies. I don't like partying, and that kind of things. That's why I'd like to go. It's possible I'm wrong (and that's why I'm writing that here), but I think if I go to a new place for me, there I could start from 0. Noone would know me, so there wouldn't be any prejudices. I know it could go $h!t, but I haven't got any reasons for staying here.

Zara, Jasna... You never know what life has got to you. People say that the best type of life, is the student's one. Because when you're a child, you have to do what your parents sat. When you're an adult, you have to work and to worry about to many things, and when you're old, then you have illness problems (etc). So, go to the new place, and try to enjoy it as much as you can. You're really nice people, and I'm sure, you'll find many friends, and a special one ;)
