Hello Patrollers :)

 

A quick Hello from here. I've been really busy these days with school (and also French after class). I'll start next week with English, so I think I'm not going to have much time for being here :( My teachers decided to give me much homework everyday -_- (specially for Zara) I'm having a really strange weather here; there's a ¿storm? and it's always windy and raining. We had an alert yesterday, but it's getting better.

Hope you're having a good weather, good days and no problems.

 

Peter, you told us you're having holidays next week... Hope you have a good time then ^_^

Anchonia, Jasna... You should start Uni one of these days.. don't get stressed, and have a nice time, too :)

My uni is starting on Monday. I moved to my new apartment. Writing from there. The weather. Its ok. It was rainy yesterday, today was gloomy, and tomorrow probably sunny. :) :) :)

I can't believe you're there :cry: I can remember the first days of July, when September was so far away, you were working :rolleyes: beautiful days :P

Today's the big day! 1st October, Pete has got holidays!! :cheer: :cheer:

Today I started my English classes, and my new teacher is Australian!! He has got a strange accent, but I could understand him ^^ It's the second Australian that teaches me, hope this time is better :) I asked bout Brisbane, and he told me it's really beautiful, and that everyone wants to go to Queensland. Also that they have the best climate all over Australia and that there isn't a winter! :o It seems Osiris is from a great part of Australia :cheer:

 

He also told me that in Canberra many kangaroos (I don't know how it's written) were killed :( Because the government said that!! I was really angry :angry: Some Australians seem to be crazy :P

 

Appart from that there isn't much to tell ^_^

I don't have any news to share... Uni starts on Monday. I have to be there at 9.30am. There's gonna be hundreds of us in one room. It's gonna be like a welcome "party" ( yeah right :lol: ) for all us first years....

I was helping my friend with some translating yesterday and today... It was well hard :( so now I'm gonna treat myself with a couple of films I gotta see before uni starts 'cause when it does, I'm not sure how much free time I'm gonna have on my hands :(

Im home this weekend (well I came home 30min ago, and Im going to uni tomorrow afternoon but)

 

 

My uni is ok. We are in small building and there are lots of students, but besides that it ok. I dont have any professor who are not from Croatia. :(

But I got the chance to apply to British council cause I study political science. And Ill go and apply next week. We can go there watch British TVs, read newspapers, get the chance to go to UK for less money.... Yay!!! (maybe they'll agree to with me citizenship :D :D

I've get really happy ^_^ It seems you like your Uni and that it is nice :) and that your good! (this is the most important thing). Having teachers from your own country seems to be really boring, but if you can watch English TV or read their newspapers it'll be better.

Ararita is the title of the first album by Croatian singer/songwriter Luky (or Lvky although that cannot be pronounced :wacko: )

I don't listen to Croatian music much but this album is really something! :wub: and the song I posted the video for is my fav :wub: I know you don't understand it but give it a listen. Music connects people :drama: you don't have to know the language hehe
