I've heard about a possible release of 'My Love' with a re-release of the album but I was just thinking if the single choices really let the album reach its full potential. Obviously I think we all would have expected and liked to have seen a physical release for 'Eyes On Me' & 'Alone' as well as a proper music video for them both.

 

Personally, I feel that this would have been the best option;

01. Shadow Of Love (Something upbeat and lively yet shows vocal ability which may not appeal all fans but would have got noticed)

02. Taking Chances (Most definitely deserving of the first single but a part of me feels it is just a bit too classic Celine and not thinking outside of the box)

03. Alone (She absolutely sings her heart out of this and is much better than the original, a stunning power ballad)

04. Surprise Surprise (Depending on how the others had gone, I think this would have been a nice way to close the album)

 

I think, 'Eyes On Me' is what let the album down. I completely love the song but it is just a little bit too abstract and doesn't bring out her vocals. I do think this is proven through it failing to reach great chart positions albeit without a video or physical release.

This Time most definitely should have been a single. :wub: I think I would have had that as the third single instead of 'Alone'. Perhaps 'Alone' was just one too many covers for Celine. :unsure:

I did, when I first heard about Celine's new album and the single. I do quite like it but it isn't anything compared to Celine's version. :wub:

I was thinking that My Love could be released seeing we are getting a new version of it. That's just my theory not official. :P
