Posted June 5, 200619 yr This is Sarah Nixey's (Of Black Box Recorder) fantastic 2nd single and it's an electro-pop superb, pop mish-match proving Sarah can do anything at all. You may like this if you're into your electro this might be a must have single of 2006 kinda Sophie Ellis Bextor-ish if anything! http://sarahnixey.com/pictures/strangelovecover.jpg Tracklisting: 1. Strangelove 2. The Collector meets Comma 3. The Collector meets Infantjoy 4. The Collector meets Pete Davis Nixey’s new single ‘Strangelove’ will be released on 26th June and will include The Collector remixes by Pete Davis, Infantjoy and Comma. ‘Strangelove’, Sarah’s self-described dance anthem, is certainly a move away from her typical sound. Her vocals are less detached and include a pleasant, shouty “Hey†hook reminiscent of Moloko’s ‘Pure Pleasure Seeker’ Listen to 'Strangelove': http://www.myspace.com/sarahnixey What do you pop fans make of this? I love it personally, great electro pop! :cheer:
June 6, 200619 yr I LOVE this! Amazing just doesn't cut it for how I describe it. Sarah is a legend & I've missed her not releasing for the past 2 years or so.
June 6, 200619 yr Ooo now this is fab music :o deffo reminds me of Sophie Ellis Bextor :cheer: Hope she does well :D
June 7, 200619 yr Prefer the Black Box Recorder stuff, but hey ho. Her last single, or rather her first solo single was more like BBR. I expect the album will be, as I think she's just done a one off for Strangelove...but nothings certain yet.
