My perfect vision of this album is a mixture between Breakaway and My December. Some really great songs which can be realesead and be hugely sucssesful but also some really stunning My December type tracks.

Agree 100%. But maybe it will be more chart / radio friendly than MD.

According with his official site, Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy told his fans that he has sent some demos to Kelly, check out the quote:

I'm just gonna out the thing I'd been hinting at forever but didn't ever say-I was trying to work on Kelly Clarkson's record. I sent her some demos, had a meeting, she's a totally awesome musician and I think she's rad. Don't know if she ended up recording any of the songs and that's all fine with me. I'll still buy the new Kelly record when it comes out. She has a lot of guts and I respect the hell out of her.

That needed to be said  She has a lot of guts ;)

“The CD is now slated for Feb 2009. Please don't read any doom into this. Trust that things are for the best, also trust that things can change.”, says icyi from KCE. Not the best news for fans but Kelly’s record company and Kelly herself knows what they do and we cannot blame this decision, plus, we don’t know if it won’t be changed, so again I will repeat that all we can do is wait, wait, wait and wait.

Also, some news from HDD:

Gone 'til November: Hailing from Boston, and recently let go from their development deal with Epic, this five-piece is building its own story, due in large part to Aimee Proal's knack for writing what sound to us like potential hits. One of them, “Save You,” co-written with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, was picked up for Kelly Clarkson's upcoming album. Maybe they didn't need Epic after all. The demo of “Save You” is one of four tracks streaming at here.

No point posting the streaming link as its not on there :(
