Now that Jason Donovan has confirmed a new album is been released do any of you think he can do well again after more than 15 years since he had a hit? i remember the time when he was huge he was the robbie williams of the late 80 and early 90's but he faded away really quick once he left pwl, does anytone remember of like any of his old material?

Probably not as well as his heyday, but he might make the Top 40 if he's lucky.

He still has a fanbase.

He was quite a good singer and (Neighbours aside) he was a pretty good actor. I'd prefer to see more of him on TV or in films or on stage than hear music from him though. I think the guy has a great personality too. I think a come-back on the chart-front though, will flop.

I was a big Jason fan. I still have his greatest hits on video lol. I love his old material but cant see him working in the charts now.

i was sure when he finished im a celeb and the greatest hits was released that it would do ok but it didnt even make the top 75 so going from that i cant see this new album doing much better,however a good strong lead single could change that plus he will have to do everything he can promotion wise

I agree with the others. I loved him when he started his singing career but to make a comeback now will bring him nothing. He'll flop.

no it wasnt a comeback what happened was he was with pwl and he left when his contracyt ended i think it was bmg he signed with and he released three singles which didnt do great 2 made the top 30 the other missed the top 40 and the album all around the world flopped it made number 27 but vanished from the charts quickly that was all around 1992 i tink and he didnt make a comeback since although he released a download only single and a graetest hits after im a celebrity get me outa here both missed the top 75 and i dont know where they charted
