I don't think it will now. I expect it to end the week at #8 on 24k.
I can't see the HMV thing making a too big a difference, ok it might affect some sales but, you go into HMV purposely looking for a record, those that want it will find it somewhere else. The impulsive buys tend to happen in supermarkets.
Unsurprising about Ireland. Even off the back of About You Now, the Change album only reached #14 there. Which is about three copies sold :heehee:
Oh my, and with a poor choice of second single, i doubt that's going to help a lot either.
How can it debuted today when its got another day (today) of sales? Or is a Saturday midweek?
The album has debuted at #10 on the UK Physical Chart. :o

Thats with compilations involved.

I'm confused. Is that the position without d/l's included?

It's a sort of unofficial Saturday midweek which includes compilation albums, whereas the official chart doesn't.

Without the 2 compilations above it, it's still at #8 basically.

Like Jark said, it includes compilations, but it doesn't include downloads.

I'm a fairly new Sugababes fans, having been drawn in by About You Now, Change and Denial, which encouraged me to buy the last album.

I really love Catfights and Spotlights! It definitely takes about 3 or 4 listens to really appreciate it. At first there are only a couple of standout songs, but now I love them all. It's a much more consistent album than 'Change', I think. It's a shame that there isn't as much of a buzz surrounding it and it'll probably be charting towards the bottom of the top ten tomorrow. :( It deserves much better and I hope subsequent single releases can help.
