I'm a fairly new Sugababes fans, having been drawn in by About You Now, Change and Denial, which encouraged me to buy the last album.

 

I really love Catfights and Spotlights! It definitely takes about 3 or 4 listens to really appreciate it. At first there are only a couple of standout songs, but now I love them all. It's a much more consistent album than 'Change', I think. It's a shame that there isn't as much of a buzz surrounding it and it'll probably be charting towards the bottom of the top ten tomorrow. :( It deserves much better and I hope subsequent single releases can help.

Tottaly agree! Loved it from the first listen, and I get the feeling I'm not going to get bored of this album for a LONG time.

Nothings As Good As You is still my fave

I really wish they weren't releasing No Can Do next, both the first 2 singles are two of the worst on the album imo

It could be a blessing in disguise that there not releasing EHB yet. If it was released for the xmas week instead it may end up getting a lower chart position than it desserves, where as with NCD it's not amazing anyway so its no tradgedy.

I think they should have chosen Every Heart Broken for the second single - but I don't mind No Can Do being a single. :heart:

I'm surprised that so many people dislike the album i dont think its anywhere near as bad as its being made out to be, yeah Girls is a bad lead single but there are some tracks on here that could end being some of my favorite Sugababes songs ever....SUNDAY RAIN??? omg that song is amazing wish it was the second single it would be good for this time if year. EHB is another one i hope is a single, beautiful and very clever lyrics. No Can Do is a great track too, it would have been better as a summer single i think, but its catchy and sticks in your head.

Ouch at their first week sales!!!! Horrible, for an album that was launched with a #1 airplay hit.

At least it remained consistant throughout the week, though it will probably fall out of the top 20 next week. :(

I think my opinion of this album has really made a complete turn around in the last week, i now adore it except for Girls. sure maybe it could be a little better but most of the songs are stunning.

Im not fond of the first couple of songs on the album the rest are really good
