Started listening to the songs now. I've listened to Every Heart Broken already and i absouletly love it.

the whole album in general is amazing! I really like it!

Faves are:

Side Chick, No Can do, Sunday Rain, Every Heart Broken among others- still have to listen to it alot more.

I think Can We Call A Truce will emerge as my fave from this album, and possible fave of all time, and I've only listened to it twice!
Hmm, Every Heart Broken remains my favourite so far, still a few songs to listen to.

New album track rate:

(01) 01 Side Chick 10/10

(03) 02 Can We Call A Truce 10/10

(02) 03 Unbreakable Heart 10/10

(04) 04 Hanging On A Star 10/10

(06) 05 Nothing's As Good As You 9.5/10

(07) 06 You On A Good Day 9.5/10

(05) 07 Every Heart Broken 9/10

(08) 08 Girls 9/10

(09) 09 Sound Of Goodbye 8.5/10

(11) 10 No Can Do 8.5/10

(12) 11 Beware 8/10

(10) 12 Sunday Rain 8/10

Average > 9.2/10

Why do almost of you dislike "Beware"? It's simply amazing! After hearing "Can We Call a Truce" I'm nearly crying from tender emotions, the second best song of the album. BTW, this is the first Suga-album in what I like the second part, not the first. No Can Do is not a good choice for a single but we'll see.

From listening to the album id say its alright overall, certainly not their best, it feels a bit empty in places.

I think 'You On A Good Day', 'Hanging On A Star' & 'Can We Call A Truce' are my favourites aswell as the bonus acoustic AYN.

Some of the songs dont half drag on a bit though, jees.

Album Review On first listen __

03 __'Girls', well we all know how awful this is. Does sound better after listening to it after the first 4 tracks though I must say...

04 __ 'You On A Good Day', this doesn't really sound that good either... Repetative and boring, even at 3 minutes.

02 __ 'No Can Do', even worse than 'Girls'. Seriously this would be an awful second single choice.

03 __ 'Hanging On A Star', sounds like something from 2003/4/5 I think. Another bad song...

05 __ 'Side Chick, ahh the one a lot of people seem to love early on. They've made an okay attempt at being RnB'ish but it's nothing special still though really. Best so far mindddd, could be a grower.

03 __ 'Unbreakable Heart', the start of the chorus of this reminds me of Chris Brown's 'Forever' lol. Still this sounds very meh. Actually as the song goes on it gets worse and worse. /:

01 __ 'Sunday Rain', possibly the worse song so far. An awful first half of the album is ended by this. The chorus seems to go on for ever and ever and not ever get very far. Oh dar.

06 __ 'Every Heart Broken', wahey! I love the little piano intro, the beat is very similar to 'Side Chick' I think but the vocals are much better over the top. Easily my favourite so far. A good song! o:

00 __ 'Beware', oh god, what is this!? The vocals are absolutely AWFUL. This could be the worst song I've ever heard from them. Really that bad.

01 __ 'Nothing's As Good As You', fucking hell. This is a badddd song. The lyrics are shite as well.

05 __ 'Sound of Goodbye', kind of okay. It's really not much of a standout though. Just not a bad song.

03 __ 'Can We Call A Truce', it's borrrring and it's slow. I honestly don't know what else to say about it.....

03 __ Average score.

02 __ 'About You Now (Acoustic)', a bit pointless I think and doesn't add anything to the original. Boo.

02 __ 'She's Like A Star (With Taio Cruz)', see above.

Well there we go. I honestly think the album is one of the worst I've heard this year and every Sugababes album has been better than this. The whole thing is just so bland. Amelle's voice annoys me so so much. The one good thing about the record is Keisha, who does seem to shine throughout when the other two fail. I'm not taking a negative view on the album because I don't like the Sugababaes (because I do) but because I think the album is rubbish.

Album is great. 4 fave songs are: You On A Good Day, Side Chick, Hanging On A Star and Sound Of Goodbye.

My rate:

Girls = 9.5/10

You On A Good Day = 10/10

No Can Do = 8/10

Hanging On A Star = 10/10

Side Chick = 10/10

Unbreakable Heart = 8.5/10

Sunday Rain = 8.5/10

Every Heart Broken = 9/10

Beware = 9/10

Nothing's As Good as You = 9.5/10

Sound Of Goodbye = 10/10

Can We Call A Truce = 9/10

9.25/10

Really great album. ^_^

Could anyone send me the link, or in the right direction for the album?

Really dissapointed with the album. No actual bad songs (except Girls) just a load of average and forgettable songs, which i really didnt want to happen since i really wanted them to suprise me and come up with something good.

I adore Every Heart Broken though.

Why do almost of you dislike "Beware"? It's simply amazing!

I don't get the hate for it either!

I love the dark atmosphere and Amelle vocals are amazing (really different and soulful).

Could be a bit longer though.

I love Beware its one of my faves.

Amelle sounds amazing on every song aswel, think she is becoming my favourite member

Standouts so far

Unbreakable Heart

Nothing's As Good As You

Can We Call A Truce

Hanging On A Star is rubbish!

I don't think they've invented a word yet which can describe just how much I love this album. It has it all - the hooks from Change and Taller, the subtle beauty of Three, the clever lyrics of AWDF. It's just such a perfect mash-up.

Side Chick, Can We Call A Truce and Unbreakable Heart are all absolutely epic. I love their sadness-tinged songs.

'You On A Good Day' ... No better than a b-side in my opinion, sometimes repetition works but this is a case where it really doesnt. Really lazy IMO and the production at the end isnt great, they need to turn up Keisha's ad-libs. The part at the start just made me dis-like Amelle (just a little) for the first time, talk about naff!

'Unbreakable' ... I love this, its simple but the production is amazing. I love Amelle on this, she really brings a rawness to the tracks over the other girls. VERY nice harmonies too.

'Sunday Rain' ... Going down the Duffy and Amy route rather blatently. Nice vocals and the end of the chorus is nice 'Always comes sunday rain', lovely hook. Keisha really suits this. Got a little bit boring but nice track overall.

'Sound Of Goodbye' ... Dont like the verses but the chorus is rather nice indeed, Amelle is lush on the second verse.

'Side Chick' ... This sounds like a mix of 'Back Down' and '3 Spoons Of Suga' from Change and i hated them both so you wont be surprised to know that i dont like this song very much.

'Like A Star' ... Nice addition, the girls are actually the only reason i like this song!

'Nothing's As Good As You' ... Lovely start up from Heidi, Amelle's verse is lovely too and so is Keisha's part!! Amazing track, my favourite so far!

'No Can Do' ... Very Jackson 5 esque intro. So its the 'next single' ... hmmm, its quite catchy but nothing special. The ending with Amelle looping, Keisha's ad-libbing and Heidi's last words is great though.

'Hanging On A Star' ... I LOVE THIS ALREADY - just up to the intro. WOW, nice vocals all round. The spoken verses by Amelle work really well and the guitar helps the chorus so much, its so sparkly. The 'tell me baby baby' part is lush!! MY FAVE SONG ON THIS (after listening to it all and editing this!)

'Girls' ... Well i think everyone knows what i think of this. To be fair though, it has grown on me and for some strange reason seems to fit well on the album.

'Every Heart Broken' ... My favourite ballad, the strings are gorgeous. AMAAZZIIINNGGG!

'Can We Call A Truce' ... Amelle is beautiful at the beginning. OK, how much does the start of Keisha's part in the first verse sound A LOT like EHB's verses?! Its ok, but nothing special.

'Beware' ... Dark, sounds rather nice actually. Case of verses beat chorus' IMO.

'About You Now' ... Lovely finish (as i know it does on the tracklist), a little flat on the chorus - i think mainly down to Amelle but overall a beatutiful rendition.

Overall, nice album allbeit some tracks forgettable but a lovely listen sat at the computer. Fantastic vocals overall, some songs a little samey but apart from that this makes a good album.

Glad you like it! It should only get better with time too. What I've noticed is that although there are three big fan faves (You On A Good Day, Side Chick, Truce), everybody seems to love different songs. It's the anti-Change, where everybody agreed that NGDA and MLIP were the best album tracks.
