I know it wasn't. I meant "in the first place", as in, at all.

Salford boy/girl garage pop duo, Jules de Martino & Katie White were amongst the front runners in the BBC's 'Sound for 2008' poll. The Tings Tings were the hottest ticket in their (home)town û their house parties at their Islington Mill apartment the place to be. It wasn't long before record companies were alerted and also attending, the duo subsequently signed a deal with SonyBMG. - HMV

One of a groundswell of young U.K. bands to emerge in the early 2000s, Welsh quartet the Automatic play catchy, sanguine Britpop. Their debut full-length, NOT ACCEPTED ANYWHERE, released in June 2006, displayed the marked influence of Blur, '70s U.K. power pop, and the Kaiser Chiefs, rather than the detached, angular art-pop of many of their contemporaries. The album spawned the aptly named "Monster" which reached number four on the U.K. singles chart. The Automatic won "Best British Breakthrough Act" at the 2006 Vodaphone Music Awards, beating out the Arctic Monkeys, the Fratellis, and Dirty Pretty Things. - HMV

Absolutely f***in' great race. Nick has bad start (because Heikki) but in the end, great strategy and third position. Great great! :yahoo: :yahoo:

Yeah, ouch, big fall. Quite like it, although I really don't like The Automatic much (Monster = :puke2:)

Not since Michael Jackson moonwalked across the stage at Motown 25 has a dance routine so electrified a crowd the way that Chris Brown's now legendary performance at the 2007 Grammys did. The multi-talented teenage superstar (who turned 18 shortly after the performance) has been an award-garnering machine since his 2005 self-titled debut, offering up a bankable, hip-hop-tinged take on pop and R&B best exemplified by his smash "Run It!" Brown has also collaborated with a number of marquee rappers including Juelz Santana, David Banner, and Lil Wayne. - HMV

Multi-talented R&B artist, songwriter and producer, Taio Cruz signed a US publishing deal at the tender age of 18. Hailed as 'the new Babyface', the precocious Londoner earnt songwriting credits for Usher, Mya and Britney, and worked with Jazze Pha and Rich Harrison before his first release. On his debut album DEPARTURE (2008), Cruz inevitably shone in every department. From sweet and smooth vocals to the crisp and slick beats, DEPARTURE boasted individuality and style, and included the UK top five hit single "Come On Girl", a duet with Luciana. - HMV

Doesn't seem that AIEW has the staying power of Now You're Gone. Not too suprised to be honest, it's nothing like as good.

And I think I said it before, but I wish Save The Lies was in the charts rather than Sweet About Me...

Edited by TomKay

Angel in the Night is the best Basshunter song! It's the next single and is already Top 50 on itunes.
Keane on the up :o

Yes :w00t: Spiralling is superb and I can't wait for the album.

Sorry AdzBrown but I don't like Angel much... Wish he was releasing Camilla.
