She was totally snubbed this year except for the best selling catagories
Probably because she released a lacklustre (at best) album...

What utter c**p. :/ You even told me you liked all the songs you'd heard off it but you hadn't downloaded the whole thing! Delta is by a considerable distance the best material of her career, but even if you don't agree with that then you cannot possibly argue that Believe Again deserves nominations, being the single of her career to date and having an absolutely world-class music video. Plus she's sold double what Kylie has with X - she's the highest-selling Oz artist over the last 12-month period. Being snubbed is a JOKE, frankly.

i havent heard any of the material from deltas third album,i loved her first album and was a bit disappointed with the 2nd album,is the third album getting a uk release??
To be honest, I think she will win the Female artist category, but sadly she can't beat the Craponicas...
the only veronicas song i know is when it all falls apart, it was huge hit in aussie when i was there over 2 years ago

That was months ago Jark, I decided to listen to the whole thing and aside from the singles, Brave Face and Possessionless, it's a load of old tosh IMO. Goodelta hit the nail right on the head the other week when he said a few of the songs sound like Westlife productions :/

what did you think of her first 2 albums aly?

The first one had some really good stuff on it, mainly the singles though there were a few other gems too. It had it's fair share of filler although not to the extent her third album does.

The second album was actually amazing, it's just they picked the wrong tracks to release as singles and left all the killer songs on the album, hence why the project failed so badly. :(

FeelTheFever, ignore Aly. :P The third album is an actual masterpiece. Have you heard Believe Again or In This Life, the first two singles? Both are absolute career-bests. Believe Again will be #1 upon release in 2009.

I hate to bash Kylie in her own forum, but the Delta album absolutely owns X, hands down. It's just in another league entirely - mature, fun, fresh pure pop. The variety it offers is brilliant and yet it's also very cohesive. 9/10.

i agree with silverrocket; the album seems amazing at first but when you've listened to it fully for a while it's quite boring. Delta could have been way more creative with this album like Mistaken Identity (which I still love) !
