i know, Underneath peaked at 99 :cry: and the album missed top 10

i think she has a point, music has moved on while she was away

I blamed bad promotion... There´s plenty of room for "adult pop" (that´s how I classify her music) in the UK charts: Dido, James Blunt, James Morrison, Coldplay, etc. Alanis could be big with decent promo. But what have they done in the last years for that? They haven´t even tried! The most popular track from her last album, "Not As We", sold more then the official lead single in USA, and still the label didn´t pick that track for a single and didn´t make a music video for it. She´s went from a 16 million selling album to a 180k selling album (in USA), which is absurd...

So true, She really needs to get away from Warner Brothers because they really don't know how to handle talent. She's released her 2nd single on iTunes "In Praise Of The Vulnerable Man" with an amazing B-Side but I doubt if many people know that she has released her 2nd single. BOO Warner Brothers

yeah i agree, Not As We should be a single with proper promo, In Praise Of The Vulnerable Man should not be a single, i only found out about it by surfing the itunes store, although Break is a great track and i am glad to have it.

My favourite female act out there. And agreed, for some reason her label has given up on her promotion wise. There's no reason she couldn't still be big, there's plenty of lesser female singer/songrwriters making money out there.
