September 21, 200816 yr Liverpool don't stand a chance of winning the Premiership it's a two-horse race and for the ref, 7 yellows for United, none for Chelsea... and did the linesmen not have a flag each?
September 21, 200816 yr Berbatov looks absolute $h!te    £30.9m  Man Utd fans on Berbs QUOTE Looks unfit, disinterested and completely unmotivated... he needs to get his act together! QUOTE He couldn't be arsed today, should have took him off at half time, can he run? QUOTE lacks fitness plus he was lazy today QUOTE Lazy bast*rd, nice hair though. QUOTE Agree. Disgraceful display today. The likes of Park and Fletcher are putting in a huge amount of effort closing people down, and yet Berbatov can't even be bothered on a day when his technical excellence was missing. QUOTE a bad game can happen to anyone but at least put in the effort. QUOTE United players are expected to make an effort. Sure they can be off form sometimes, miss chances and so on but unless they are Ronaldo, it is completely unacceptable for them to fail to compete, fail to track, fail to put pressure on opponents, fail to close down. QUOTE He's a classy player but seemed a bit disinterested at time today. Ok we are not in a position to gloat atm :( but the grass ain't always greener on the other side is it Robbie and Dimi ;) bet they wished they had stayed now
September 21, 200816 yr To be fair, I don't think Berbatov and Keane have done that bad, they've just not fitted in correctly yet. I'm sure Keane will come good, but right now he can't really buy a goal. Still, has only been 5 league games so far, so no time for anyone to jump to major conclusions yet. And those comments, they'll be from fickle fans, who I absolutely hate (I can't believe i'm sticking up for Man Utd). But I mean what do you expect really? Is obvious Berbatov isn't fit. I think Man Utd payed over the odds for him, but he's the sort of player Man Utd needed. But again, Berbatov is the type of player that plays for himself and not for the team, so what did some Man Utd fans expect really...
September 22, 200816 yr If Keane's worth 20m, Berbatov's worth 200m, FACT. No way. Keane is a great player, he scored as many goals as Berbatov did last year, I just don't think he's found his place in the Liverpool team yet. Keane's always been a great player, it's just he's an idividual player. I thought he was great against Man Utd last week, I just don't think he's hitting it off with Torres yet. Kinda makes me think that if we'd have signed Barry, Gerrard wouldn't play central midfielder, and he'd have played behind Torres, and with Torres they'd have got Liverpool 50+ goals a season. Bahh. :( Still I think Keane's a good signing, and he'll come good (eventually). He's as good as Berbatov on his day, and has a much better work rate.
September 22, 200816 yr Look at how long it took Crouch to start doing really well at Liverpool and look at how long it took Bergkamp ;) They'll both do well in time! Anyway Dimi has done ok so far imo! He'll be a perfect partner for Rooney.
September 22, 200816 yr I'm surprised no-one's mentioned this: ZLTz2U9RfmM A million points if you can show me when the first goal is scored. Edited September 22, 200816 yr by DitzyNizzy
September 22, 200816 yr ahahaha Berbatov's incredible, he's so complete Keane's fúcking shíte We must be thinking of different Keane's then... And LOL at that whole Reading vs Watford fiasco. Just goes to show you, how most of the times the officals get decisions wrong. It isn't always there fault as their view is blocked, but it makes you wonder, as these people are in charge of running the games, and even they f*** up most of the time...
September 22, 200816 yr I really think Tottenham are gonna win the premier league this year, at least top 3. Especially after their flying start to the season. TWO WHOLE POINTS :P!
September 22, 200816 yr I'm surprised no-one's mentioned this: ZLTz2U9RfmM A million points if you can show me when the first goal is scored. Yeah, I heard and saw that. But too be honest I've been too busy trying to spot the infringement that stopped 2nd minute Gerrard's (100th) Goal v Stoke City from counting. Because on Sky Sports, MOTD & MOTD2 they could not spot why it was disallowed.
September 22, 200816 yr I really think Tottenham are gonna win the premier league this year, at least top 3. Especially after their flying start to the season. TWO WHOLE POINTS :P! Well why not, they are currently only 3 points behind last season's champions! :D
September 22, 200816 yr If the linesman were on the other side I could see why he'd give offside to Torres as he looked it, but from a camera angle favouring the linesman he clearly wasn't.
September 23, 200816 yr Yeah, I heard and saw that. But too be honest I've been too busy trying to spot the infringement that stopped 2nd minute Gerrard's (100th) Goal v Stoke City from counting. Because on Sky Sports, MOTD & MOTD2 they could not spot why it was disallowed. edit
September 23, 200816 yr edit I don't think that was really an appropriate thing to say, not matter how much you hate the guy... is quite offensive.
September 24, 200816 yr LMAO! City lose to Brighton on penalties! Not their full strength team but still hilarious!
September 25, 200816 yr LMAO! City lose to Brighton on penalties! Not their full strength team but still hilarious! After the ribbing that Jo* (a Man City fan) has given me over the years (such as when PNE lost to Port Vale a couple years ago), it was soooo nice to be the abuser for once. * - My flatmate, not the Man City player.
