Where do you think Girls Aloud's new single The Promise will chart?

Number 3. Those saying it'll be their first #1 in a while will be sadly mistaken...

5-10 To be honest I'm quite underwhelmed by it, the begining sounds like a bad christmas song but hopefully its a grower.

Top 3 is a certainty... it'd be cool to see them making No.1 with this one!

5-10 is my guess.

Oh Girls! This is so dissapointing, i hope to god this grows on me.

 

Around #6 is my prediction.

Who-ever said outside of the top 10 either has a very, very bad judgement or is a GA hater.

To be honest, I don't really like it (although I think it's a good song, it's just not my thing) and the ones that I don't tend to like as much do better :lol:

Sexy! No No No... is their best song by FAR in my opinion -_-

Think again Batman, Dido and Leona are releasing singles in the same week. If they are lucky #4, as the #1 has to drop somewhere, perhaps #3

As someone who is not really a Girls Aloud fan, I really like their change of musical direction away from that electronic dance sound that even Xtina Aguilera has jumped onto that bandwagon.

 

Personally I think this will outperform the very underwhelming new Dido single & only the brand new track by Leona Lewis will stop this reaching #1.

I'm disappointed. Don't think the lyrics are particularly memorable and the tunes a bit... I don't know.

 

Though Girls Aloud songs tend to grow on me, so I'll give it time.

 

I said 10-20 but having remembered they'll be on the x factor I guess it'll be about #5.

It's already growing on me.

 

I change my mind, i think something like #3 now.

I dont see how anyone in their right mind could say this will miss the top 10, after their first 18 singles have all gone top 10 how would this miss? Their best known now than ever and with their appearance on X Factor 11 million people will see this either 1/2 days before the release.

 

Even if this wasnt one of their best songs (which it is, in their top 5 imo) it would still get top 10.

 

Give it a chance, it really is a grower!
