Ooh quite a cool video- very GA, and the big hair they all have is hilarious, they do tongue in cheek very well. As predicted, the song has totally grown on me, (though i don't like the way it ends so abruptly) the "promise i make" bit is a definite hook. This should do just fine!

That video is brilliant! Its almost like taking Duffy and making it funkier

Me too, i think thats a big possibility.

I really love the video. If they manage to get an X-Factor performance in, having now heard the song in full quality I think it has number one potential :)

Reminds me a little of Emma Bunton's Maybe and I liked that, but I'm not too keen on this and I think it goes on a bit too long, but they always go top10 so no worries.

But then you could say Pipettes took Dusty Springfields look, plus the video doesnt use entirely one look - it has an almost Supremes-esque feel to it too.

Duffy would be copying Amy Winehouse etc if this rule applied.

 

I dont mean to diss or anything but i highly doubt the girls have even seen that Pipettes video, nevermind copyed their look.

it could be anyones last year, but I think a feeling in my water is saying there's another year with maybe a 6th studio album, or a Girls Aloud collection.

 

But yeah, I just don't listen to the tabloids or magazines about the Girls anymore, as it's more than likely a pile of tosh!

I don't like the song, but these girls are obviously popular and would get a hit even if they sang the menu at their local chippy ;)
