In my opinion, it did - the script has many holes and illogical things happen.#

Still loving it, just.

Really liked the latest episode. Mr. Petrelli is already scary and Ando! NOOOOOOOO

Ando's definitely not dead. I can tell these things, i've seen too many TV shows. Ando's not quite in the same bracket of the untouchables [Peter, Claire, Sylar & Hiro] but he's not going to get killed off in a meaningless way mid-season, no way. Also, remember in the future Ando kills Hiro, and as i've said before I think it's because Hiro goes to the dark side, whereas Ando doesn't.

Maya's definitely not dead... yet. She's very expandable though, I mean she has no purpose this season apart from being Mohinder's shag partner. Methinks she's gonna be the first victim of when Mohinder turns very bad however...

i want Maya gone she is a $h!t character

Yeh I couldn't care less if Maya went.

Ando however would be disastrous, I agree he won't be dead, but the fact that Hiro even did was bad.

I can't even understand why Maya (and Alejandro) were included in the first place.

At least the writers got rid of both.

And please tell me that they've got rid of West - it's hard to believe a 17-year-old being played by someone born in 1980.

Probably because they wanted some characters from around the world, as with the exception of Hiro, all the characters were from America. Alejandro lasted much longer than he should have done, and the writers even said this, he was going to be killed off around episode 4.

The thing with season 2 is they had TOO many new characters, and the reason for this was Tim Kring originally wanted to only have a few surviving characters from the 1st season and then start afresh with the 2nd - but this plan kinda backfired. I think NBC weren't very keen on the idea, but still they introduced absolutely masses of new characters and the viewers didn't take to them (with the exception of Adam Monroe, and possibly Elle).

I'm totally loving this season, FAR FAR FAR superior to Season 2. Shame the ratings have dropped like a bomb since last season, totally underserved :(

Was to be expected though. Poor second season, and pretty much all the ratings on the major networks have dropped significantly (bar The CW). It's totally safe from getting the axe for the time being too i'm vvvv.sure.

Thank god for that. The competition is also fierce though, Dancing With The Stars is getting around 18 million

Yeah, it's quite bad. A similar thing happened to Lost when it was up against American Idol. It's not good, but it's definitely safe for the time being. There's a lot more shows that are likely to be cancelled before Heroes. Only worrying thing is, is January, 24 will come back on FOX at it will in the same timeslot as Heroes most likely, and when they were against each other the last time, 24 took a lot of viewers off Heroes (and other shows in the same timeslot).

AMAZING EPISODE IMO, best part was 'why does he look familiar' 'i dont know they all look the smae' ;thats racist!' love it.

great that we know what the helix is more about now, and to see mr petrelli and find out his power, he seems the big G really, awesome when he killed Adam.

Mr. Petrelli's power is awesome. It's clever that he took away Peter's power though. As now he has Sylar's hunger, and Peter will have to start afresh. Can't wait till Sylar and Peter team up to kick some ass. Although shouldn't Peter be able to absorb them back off his Dad? The best episode so far, back to Season 1 standard. The writing was top notch too. Only mistake they made was a continuity error when Meredith had her throat scratched, and in the next shot she had no scratch!

Did he take away all of his powers including his power to absorb powers? Is Peter now normal? Surely not.

Hmm i'm not sure. I wasn't clear whether he absorbed Peter's powers, or Peter's empath power. But surely if absorbed Peter's empath power, he wouldn't have ALL of Peter's powers? I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out next week.

errr.... Mr Petrelli :o  where did he spring from

And I hope Ando isn't dead :( it just looked so easy

Just finished watching episode 4 on BBC 2 with my friend who is following it at BBC 2 pace (i.e. seeing the episode for the first time) and when Claire shot future Peter she said 'how has that killed Peter? Surely he can heal himself?' Which made me wonder: could it be possible that after the events in episode 6 Peter never actually regains all his powers? Perhaps he'll get back some but not all of those which he had in the first place such as Claire's ability to heal.

Of course this could just be a continuity error but I thought it was interesting lol

But he can die, if shot in the right place, or like when he had a big piece of glass through his head in season one, he had died and couldn't heal himself, until Claire pulled it out
