Hmmm...decent episode this week. I kinda guessed who rebel would be though - there's only person who could've had such power with technology.

 

I like the new little Hiro and Ando storyline and it's cool to see how Ando learns to use his power differently.

 

 

Both deaths were pretty sad though. I really liked Ali Larter's character :(

 

Is Tracey actually dead? I'd be seriously pissed off! All the great female characters getting killed, first Elle, then Daphne and Tracey! Ridiculous.

Tracey is no way dead! There's no way she winked to the camera for a reason.

 

I thought that was the best episode so far this season. Good writing from Bryan Fuller, although there were some serious flaws in it. I'll start with the flaws first, I mean I saw Micah being Rebel from a mile off, they could have made it a little less obvious in the end. Then there's the Matt and Daphene scene, God it was so cheesy, even cheesy for Heroes! But there were a lot of good points. Hiro and Ando were great together. They've been $h!t as characters all season, but they were so good with the baby. It made me laugh, a lot. I also liked Tracey a lot in this episode, which is something I couldn't have said when I first saw her character.

 

But bad news for the ratings. It got absolutely f***ing awful ratings in the us. :| Like a little less than 7 million which is truly awful. Unless they can turn it around in Season 4 then next season will be the last I am sure.

I think after Tracey's death they will introduce Barbara, the final triplet.

Even though the ratings in America are pretty $h!te, NBC said it won't be ending anytime soon because they sell it all over the world. Hopefully they'll be able to turn things around in the next series.

It's a pretty much merchandising item as well. I think it's one of the highest rated shows for people watching it online too.

 

4th season is confirmed though, but they will need to massively change it around next season.

Past 3 episodes have been the best since season 1. I prefer it when its not too sci-fi. Unfortunately the damage has already been done. The last epsisode that got aired got like under 6 million viewers in the US :| I do not know how they are going to re-claim viewers.

Sylar working for the government is possibly the best direction they could have gone in - i love it :wub: It's never going to be as good as it was, but it's doing it's best... Not giving up yet.

It was boring and I had no idea what was going, but I realised that I didn't even care!

I used to have no idea what was going on, but liked it so much that it became part of WHY I loved the programme anyway!

I just saw the eppy on BBC3, that was a bit better seems its getting a bit interesting now, since there is only 3-4 eppys left I might as well stick with it, but this season has been so bad.

Season 3 started off terribly (got absolutely planned by critics in America) and lost about 4 million viewers over a month or two (very bad). The writers just went too sci-fi. They'd got so caught up in the show that they alienated a lot of the audience. It just lost every ounce of believeability, as originally the show was about ordinary people with extraordinary abilities, but as we found out, these were all manufactured abilities and I think AT LEAST 5/6 characters have died over the show, but have come back to life. Then I don't even know where to start with the f***ing ridiculous Sylar story earlier in the season.

 

But Bryan Fuller recently came back, and you can tell. Since episode 20 the storylines are more self contained to certain characters and its getting good again. The foundations for storylines had already been layed, but Fuller has worked to try and better and improve these storylines. Next season is entitled Redemption. Lets hope it means redemption for the show.

Completely forgot about this thread! Just to comment on the Fugitives volume: I think overall the story and the writing is much better than it was at the start of Volume 3. The last few episodes have been excellent and

I thought, unlikely you Rooney, that the episode about Matt, Noah and Mohinder was just awful. It took me so long to download it and it was the most boring episode I'd seen in ages. Anyway as I said, it's gotten good again lately and am loving Hiro and Ando with Baby-Touch-and-Go :lol: Think things could be interesting with Sylar again which is good because, as people have said, his character was getting silly.

 

 

The 1961 episode was pretty great actually with a great ending... Heroes is back to it's almost best :o (obviously not season 1 best but the best it can be)

Yeah, definately a great ending! I kind of like this Petrelli family dynasty as well - although I hope the other characters don't get side tracked.

True but i didn't like her and she didn't have a power. I think cause Micah is back in it she might, well i hope she does her power is as good as Peter's original power. She could see people use powers then will be able to learn how to do them straight away. The 3rd triplet is bound to be in it soon. I wonder what her power will be.
