LOL. I thought i might as well join in to see what it was like. Didnt think id do more than a few contests.

Shame it wasn't a month earlier, thankfully Pavel and Trashlexis have now had worst results while being host. That wasn't a good record to have.

 

I was the same, I was only gonna join for VI to show everyone how good Bev is live and how good 'Black Butta' was but then I won so I was kinda locked into the next contest which hooked me. :lol:

Yeah, though i wonder that if id entered Superhuman first and finished last in my first contest, would i have entered again.

I dunno, even coming last means you've qualified. Now I don't know if I would have if I came last in my first contest - back when semis weren't common. I kinda wish we had times were we didn't have to worry about qualifying again.

Well at least you've actually qualified in every contest unlike some countries (FNT Nickodonia)

True, but that's probably because I'm careful with my entries since Estelle was a mega flop. Since IX I've been trying to artists that will appeal to more than one group of people. The pop and more alternative fans. It obviously isn't working as you don't really like anything I've sent. :lol: I haven't exactly won either so maybe I should have a rethink.

 

You seem to be doing alright for yourself, we're both in the same situation really. I didn't have to qualify in VI or VII so we both begin at XIII for proper qualification. It's a shame Nick hasn't done better, I liked his Avril entry in VII but I think only his latest one was good enough for the final tbh. I might just give him a 12 for the sake of it this time. :lol:

Dream On was fantastic and You'll Find A Way was OK i guess. O Saya was again OK and i cant remember what you entered last month LOL. Any ideas yet for BJSC14?

 

LOL, it's not the end of the world if i qualify or not really. The only entry that i wasnt confidence that would make the final was Jamelia though.

 

Some people are not giving Nick points for the sake of it im convinced LOL. The Wonder Girls last month were very good i think.

I entered "Stuck On Repeat" last month and people decided to like Little Boots a whole lot more the month after. -_- I have no idea what to send for XIV, I know I would like to send Brandy the month after, but until then...I was thinking of the new September one but it'll be out by the time the contest is.

 

Yeah, I wasn't sure Jamelia would make it either, glad she did though. I didn't think much of Wonder Girls.

J is actually my joint second best performing entry in a semi, she came 6th and then 24th in the final LOL.

But September seems more likely to be a big hit over VV Brown to me. Maybe I could enter a remix of it. I'm quite keen to find a GOOD remix of something that doesn't flop. But it could do an "Everytime" as it'd have to be a well known song to do well, but it could also 'ruin' it for people.

 

I think that's partly my fault, I think I gave her a lot of points in the semi to try and get her through but didn't follow through in the final. :kink: I did the reverse of that once, I think Robyn came 11th and then 5th.

Isn't September relesead in April or something though, so surely she wont be that cheap this month.

 

My semi results are always rather weird. Superhuman & La La Love actually did a lot better in the semis than Do It Again & Singapore.

Nope, same week as VV Brown. I'm considering a remix of it instead, but that'll still be cheap...

 

That is quite odd. :mellow: With your best entries you get put in the wrong semi and then improve in the final but with your worst performing entries you get put with the only fans of the songs? :unsure: :lol:

Exactly LOL. I mean Superhuman came 8th in the semi and then last! I could have shot you all if i had the chance. Though looking back it was a horrendous entry and is actually only my 15th fav song from BJSC9.

Not really LOL. September is hardly as well known or loved as Pink.

 

LOL, my entry has only been my fav on three times (Dumb, One Word and Singapore). Superhuman is now just bland for me, La La Love i've overplayed and going back i probably wouldnt have gone with Cookie if i could change my entry.

Hmm...true. I guess it's more like "Breathe Slow". I doubt anyone would like the remix anyway, making it pointless.

Girls Aloud came 17th and Cookie 18th but Cookie recieved more points i think. I dunno it's probably the fact that i've overplayed La La Love & Do It Again which is something i avoided with One Word & Singapore.
