If you didn't like the performance then fine, but posting only bad comments from other people is stupid. She performed on one of the biggest UK shows, it was obvious she would get alot of hate

Well, I was just backing up what I was saying! Didnt wanna be all talk!

Ok, so I will just make the negative comments from now on, lol!

If you listened close enough, you can hear a bit of vocals at the end when the song finishes. It could've been pre-recorded but at least it was something.

For a show thats based on finding talent i would expect live vocals from her. X-Factor is having the whole package voice/dancing etc and she showed neither. Again it was gd performansace but everyone i think was expecting more.

Do you even think Britney knew about the hype? I doubt it lol

Of course she did. I dont think she is that niave. Its her first show in over 5 years in the UK and her first one in the UK since the breakdown.

Now i feel bad. Just ignore me lol

I'm just giving an honest opinon! If people don't like it...tough! I know i'm right 95% of the time, so will carry on! ^_^

and I know im right by saying I liked perfomance considering circumstances of what shes been through :)

WTF did people expect... honestly. I think people forget the hell she has been through for the past year or so. I know I know, people don't care. -_- Everyone was expecting her to be on top form because you know, it's BRITNEY we're talking about here!

I say it was great considering the circumstances. I think this performance was a lot better than nothing and I'm glad she did it. It was good promo no matter what people are saying about it. Even if people hated it, I'm sure it will help her sell. :P

Tbh though, it was risky performing on the X-Factor anyway. The UK is so critical.
It didn't come anywhere NEAR as close to the performance at the VMA's last year even if she gets some critisicm for this one. I think we're in the clear.

britney had a tough time and yes i feel sorry for her and i wish her best but surely singing live isnt going to send her over the edge, her microphone wasnt even switched on and as dannyboy said she was performing on a talent show a show wher esingers are told they song of key in parts and then britney comes on mimming is a bit critical as she is there to inspire them also
Even if she didn't show off that she could sing, she did show how strong she was and how she came back from such a low point in her life!
yes i agree with that, she looked well and looked content and i have to say she came accross as very approachable and friendly when she was talking to dermot

:o Amazing performance!!! Loved every bit of it... she was so into it, she mimed (big deal, like we didn't know right?) but the dancing was great, at her best!

She seemed very very confident and it was nice to see her chat with Dermot a bit at the end :) Britney's officially back!

To be honest, I thought her performance was good. The problem is the routine, which isnt that exciting. I think if it was different the whole performance would look better. Still she's definitely improving.

What was I expecting ? A professional performance showing off her vocal and dancing abilities. A lot to expect ? NO

And im sick of everyone going on about her bad times etc etc etc. Yeah I get it, she went through a lot and is now on the way to getting herself better. But you cant keep blaming that for everything. She is supposed to be a professional. Leave your problems at the door.

I'm sure some people on here was watching a different show, its all about the miming, awful performance  , my gran could have sang better ^_^

A LOT easier said than done. I think it's impossible for anyone to quite understand just what she's been through.

Yes including you. I just get sick of people using it as an excuse. She obv thinks she is well enough to be bk. And she knows herself better than anyone. If she well enough to be bk then she should be wel enough to perform to the abilities we all know she has

I think Dannyboy has said what I was trying to say in a fairer and less harsh way. Like he said, she's a professional and the fact she claims to be a performer/singer yet next to never sings live is a bit of a joke.

The show she performed on is about finding vocal talent and singing live, so her doing a performance like that smacked of irony. I'm sure her vocal is hardly difficult to replicate live either.

I never said I knew what she went through. Sorry I didn't make that clear enough for you.

Obviously the performance wasn't going to please everyone. It's clear Britney can't live up to everyone's standards. I'm not here to convince anyone her performance was spectacular and better than what everyone is thinking right now. I'm sure people would still be complaining if she attempted to sing live.

Woops, I don't think the performance has gone in her favour.

And the press so far hasn't be to kind either.

There was also the fact that she was completely upstaged by the other guest who was a 16 year old girl who did a good live performance and gave it her all, and Britney surely has heaps more experience than Miley does?
