I'm listening to the album for the 2nd time today and its sounding much better, but I shall refrain from a proper review until i've played it loud on my cd player next monday!

The loving kind doesnt have oomph because its an understated beautiful song.

 

Its somehow even classier than call the shots. The video will be great for it too.

the loving is a great song. it could have an amazing video, a possible 2 become 1 video in terms of the effects on the world passing them by. just my idea lol

I can't quite buy that. Many beautiful songs manage to have oomph; it needn't ruin how understated they are. This just feels slightly incomplete.

Generally i think most of the album's songs are growers really and most of them seem to be doing a great job of growing on me.

It's good. Thats about it... it's all a bit... samey... imo nothing will touch Chemistry or WWTNS? eras... it is possibly better than TU though as it's still growing on me ;o

Rolling Back the Rivers must be the second single. It just must. It paps on The Loving Kind, it's so fabulous.

 

Turn To Stone and Miss You Bow Wow must be the fourth and third singles respectively. Both are ACE.

 

I literally cannot listen to Love Is The Key or Live In The Country.

Rolling Back, The Loving Kind & Untouchable are just too fabulous for words.

 

Live In The Country is dire and should never have been put on the album.

I absolutely love the album, the whole thing is v. good and lots of songs are amazing and my favourites for 2008 already.

Amazing album! Maybe not their best, but still very good! Wasn't so sure about it on first listen, but after a couple of listens I really like it. The songs have to grow.

I havnt heard the album all the way through so far.. I have no idea how everyone is downloading it tbh :( but Ive loved what I have heard. But I dont think its as good as TU.
