The Good: I get to buy OoC and the live album

The Bad: I go back to work after 2 weeks off so I can't listen to it how I like to  although it should be playing in the shop :cheer:

The Ugly: People will jump on GA fans backs in the mids threads no doubt <_<

^^ great reviews from everywhere really.

Oh there will be plenty of GA hate next week but do we care? Narrrrr!

I wish the album could get a top3 charting! I know it's pretty busy at the moment, so I'm not sure where it's gonna chart, but they should get big st fales anyway!

Love how they say they wanna beat Razorlight for the #1 spot in the last newsletter, those girls have ambtion

Im going to predict either #2 or #3 next week, i have a feeling it will do well LOL. Anyway, great to see its getting brilliant reviews.
i'll be at my local woolies 2moro mornin to get my cd and live cd then listen 2 OOC in the car on the way to uni!!! woop!

I just cannot wait to be driving along listening to 'The Loving Kind' ^_^

Tbh I think the album has a shot at number 1 next week. The Promise has been HUUGE!

I'ver just listened to this for the first time. I've never been that keen on GA's albums really as I find a lot of them to be filler but this is a really strong and solid effort. I like that they're going for something different. There's a strong 60s/70s/80s vibe through a lot of it I think but most of the songs do seem quite samey and don't really grab you as much as some of their stuff does. The second half is also MUCH better than the first few tracks - alot of it is sort of like 'Call The Shots' as well. They have some pretty decent single choices here as well.

My favourites so far are:

The Loving Kind

The Promise

Turn To Stone [this should be a single - it's so electro-smex :o]

Rolling Back The Rivers In Times

Untouchable [also amazing in a cheesy sort of way ]

Love Is Pain

We Wanna Party

Much better than 'Tangled Up' but doesn't really beat WWTNS as their best for me :P

i wonder if the A Live album will chart higher than Mixed Up?

Where did Mixed Up chart?

i wonder if the A Live album will chart higher than Mixed Up?

Oh yeh i think it will, its being released further away from xmas than mixed up.

The album is at #3 on Amazon bestsellers ! :cheer:

Behind Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol, that is great, I don't remember Tangled Up being that high on Amazon ^_^

Top 3 would be great but number one would be :w00t:

Woolworths have it at number one in their chart with Razorlight at two

I've just bought it. :D

The album artwork is just OH SO UGLY, but whatever, the music makes up for it!
