Anyone noticed that both Aguilera's & Spears' new songs seem to have the same kind of genre. a dancey pop record. Hmm, interesting (scratches chin). Anyway it's a very good song, another top 3 hit with a medium chance of it making number one. It all comes down to the video

I think top 3. To those who made the comment about it sounding cold, a blackout reject, and a mixture of 3 blackout songs (ooh ooh baby, get naked and something else i think) i totally see your points. On first listen i thought it sounded like a slightly more lack lustre version of ooh ooh baby, as the rhythm of the beat sounds just the same so that you could sing one over the other.

In terms of the sound, its just like Blackout which was a great dancepop record, although i know what Martin meant- doesn't sound much like any of her pre-Blackout singles. Nothing wrong with this sound at all, doing an album of more tunes like this will please fans and with proper promotion this time should open up her evolved sound to the masses. It could make no1 with all the extra promo but a bit repetitive and weaker in comparison to Blackout singles is my initial impression so this may limit it's success...

In the Britney forum it there is an article saying its being released to itunes on the 7th October! I reckon it will go to number 1

This is actually Britney singing about how she was screwed over by Sam Lufti, so it is relevant (Sam Lufti who drugged her up while Alli pushed him into her life, and Adnan the pap who sold pics of her while they were out)

This song is catchy as hell. Listened to it three times and fell in love with it. And people come on she has JOSEPH KAHN shooting the video, and she is pulling out all the stops for promotion according to Jive. And people saying well Gimme More didn't go number one....HOW THE f*** did she even promote that, not at all. The worst video of her career along with a flop performance that hurt it's performance overall.

#1.

i don't see this linked to sam lufti or adnan, the song doesn't seem to have anything to do with them. the first line is "superstar" she is calling him that so its someone with status and fame and she already knows he is a womanizer so she doesn't get into a relationship with him so its not about adnan (cause she did date him) in the song she doesn't "fall for him". no this doesn't seem to be about something real unless she has met some celebrity after andan but didn't have a relationship with him and it about this "superstar".

i think top 3, depends. i doubt it will be number one as in my opinion its not very good. her last singles had the best promotion ever, she was everywhere on every news chan and every paper, and gimme more managed 3 so i will go with number 3. in my opinion its the worst song shes ever laid her vocals on, some of black out had potential but still wasnt her best work. i love her greatest hits album and her albums before it. shame really. it reminds me of POM but no where near as good. the only reason this one is catchy beacuse all she sings is womanzier. i doubt she will perform this live on x factor, i hope she does, it may help it. if her x factor performance goes well she could be number 1? but in my opinion top 3.
#1 for the pretty girl. :D

She is definitely talking about JT and K-Fed...she calls one a superstar, the other Daddy-O (K-Fed).

I may be reading too deep into this.

#2 ^_^

#3+ would be shock for me :o

Ooh wether you are or not i love that idea haha.

Top 3. If the video is good and she promotes a lot over here, then maybe #1? The song is not so bad. At first I hated it, but now I really like it. It's grown on me.

At the moment, I prefer Aguilera's. It's more instant and slick. This is a bit brash and cheap, I feel. I've got a feeling this will grow immensely though. There's a hook in there somewhere that probably will get anchored into my head...just not quite sure which one it is yet.
I think it'll just miss out on Number 1, so I predict #2

why hasn't she had the courtesy to spell 'Womaniser' correctly for the UK release? Everything seems to have to be amended for US release (ie...if an album called 'Womaniser' was released here... in the US, you could bet your last dollar they'd change it to the Americanised spelling) - yet Womaniser will always have an 's' in it in English.

This single is at best humdrum - it's definitely far, far from her best work, at any rate. Number one - but it's pretty ordinary.

She is American, so she uses the American spelling, nothing's wrong with that. It's still grammaticaly correct.

The way I are is well more shocking for example.
