WEAK..... -_-

A bunch of Pop chancers playing at being "Grunge" about 15 years too late....

Ash were doing this sort of thing over a decade ago....

correct, Ash done it good though.

Ash done it extremely good.... "1977" is a bloody great album, a mid-90s minor classic, absolutely pisses on anything Busted, Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, Sh!testar or McFly could ever do; and can totally hold its head up with the likes of Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies or Dinosaur Jr as well... And I quite liked "Nuclear Sounds" too actually... Wasn't too sure of the poppier direction they took though on the third.... "Meltdown" was cool though...

Tim Wheeler was a genuinely damn good songwriter, better than Charlie Busted could ever hope to be, shame Ash are no more really....

Ash are brilliant, there first 3 or 4 albums were amazing, sadly now they are'nt as good but still worth listening to.

I saw Ash play live a few times... Really good live band. First time was when they were INCREDIBLY young, around the time of the "Trailer" mini-album (I believe they were all about 16 then....), and even then you could see that they had something which set them apart, their youthful energy and verve was really quite contagious, and then later on with the second album when you could see that they'd matured into a very impressive live act, and finally the tour to support the 'Meltdown' album...

I thought Ash had split up though....
