I don't know what Simon was listening to, but it wasn't what was coming out of my tv.

I thought Owen was great. Not the best vocalist, but he did totally own the stage. No way he'll go for ages... seriously, all the young girls love him, my little sis being a prime example.

I think Laura's performance could have been good but I couldn't hear her, even when she was supposed to be singing loudly. The band overpowered her I think.

Laura was astounding, even given the song she was working with (which I dislike). 9

 

Eoghan was quite dire. Some terrible vocals at some points, and wandering around aimlessly. Just bad. 3

Laura really gave it her all in that performance, She looked really confident and her voice was amazing. I couldn't really hear what she was saying though but that's probably just the song. 8/10

 

Eoghan Not bad but not great either. I really don't like his voice it just screams of averagism (if that's even a word :P ). 5/10

Laura - God Bless The Child - What TF planet are the judges on? She was good but nowhere near THAT good. Compared to Billie Holiday, Ray Charles or Liza Minnelli's versions it was less than special as it lacked the emotional pathos required. It was more Gabriella Cilmi than (pre drugs) Amy Winehouse. 7
