November 7, 200816 yr Just received this email from Herman : Dear all, It may seem to have gone a bit quiet around ChartsPlus, but I can assute you that there has been a lot happening behind the scenes. And, as it stands at the moment, ChartsPlus looks likely to return in the week in the week ending 22 November. No guarantees, but very very likely. Thank you for your patience so far. I hope you have a little bit more patience left. Further details on the new ChartsPlus will follow in the next two weeks, from the new team. Best, Herman Its been nearly a week. Hopefully get some news next week
November 17, 200816 yr The week ending 22 November should be this week -_- Not even e-mail nothing yet  Is C+ getting back or not? :teresa: xox.

Bit of a waste of money so far lol Mate, this is not a positive thinking there :P I hope Lonnie & the new team (where I'm sure Herman has his place of honour, anyway), will make C+ continue the history of precious newsletters I personally dunnot want the money back even if the project does not continue, because I am one of the subscribers that have all the collection : 1 :yahoo: to 372 :( so, for the big effort put inside this newsletter, over the years, I dunnot even care about the small ammount that has left , but I care about a continuation of this newsletter  xox.

November 19, 200816 yr It would also be easier than Lonnie having to pass on messages for Herman to tell people via the website what is happening. The lack of communication (from Herman) is a bit annoying.
November 20, 200816 yr It would also be easier than Lonnie having to pass on messages for Herman to tell people via the website what is happening. The lack of communication (from Herman) is a bit annoying. Now I should explain a small detail :P Persons on forums got used to speak about Herman just like a person that posts on forums, and does a freelancer chart thingy job  Gotta explain that CHARTS PLUS was a quite big publication and until this moment me or others dunnot know the number of subscribers and of course business around this story :P So, Herman is actually Mr. Herman because he was publishing a newsletter that far beyond our thoughts was more popular than the 2 or 3 subscriptions that are crying out loud for the money B) If you were subscribers you read carefully the mail where he explained big money loss because of higher prices... he did not say, I'm gonna lose 500 quid :D So, if herman or others have a "lack of communication" is because the Charts Plus project ment loads of money and stuff... it's not that each day persons can reply to tons of emails that maybe have no sense -_- let's wait and see... I'm sure Lonnie will get back C+... There are no refunds, because the newsletter goes on, but there's only 1 confirmation that is on hold, until C+ can restart :arrr: Of course, this topic will continue even after the C+ rebirth because maybe some of the fresh subscribers will consider the new issue worse than the old one ;) Dunnot worry, we kept on even without the Airplay chart for 2 weeks, and then it got back ^_^ Have faith people, even as new subscribers :) C+ is a newsletter to wish for :yahoo: xox.
November 21, 200816 yr Author Presumably each of us receieved this situation update email? ************************************* A quick update before 22nd November, when we were hoping ChartsPlus would return: Regretfully, Official permission has still not been granted for ChartsPlus to continue, due to holidays and sickness. An assurance has been given that ChartsPlus will be discussed sometime over the next 7 days. A request has been made for missing data, so it is hoped that if there is a positive outcome and subject to this being provided, the missing issues will be available quicker than first thought. Everyone is frustrated with the many delays, but please note these are outside ChartsPlus' control. Assuming permission to continue is granted and missing data is supplied, you will be asked if you would like to receive the missing 8 issues (to 29th November 2008), or have an additional 8 issues added to the remainder of your existing subscription. If your subscription expires at ChartsPlus 374, then you would be entitled to a further 3 issues and if expiry is ChartsPlus 376, you would be entitled to 5 issues, etc. Let's keep our fingers crossed and either myself or the new team will keep you posted depending on the OCC's final decision . . . Regards, The new ChartsPlus Team
November 21, 200816 yr I'm thinking of subscribing, if they do manage to get it together.Pity it doesn't include airplay charts though.

November 21, 200816 yr You'd be more likely to get the real truth from the CIA abouf JFK's assassination... :) Yeah I think so too
November 21, 200816 yr I'm thinking of subscribing, if they do manage to get it together.Pity it doesn't include airplay charts though. Charts Plus is the only newsletter to have the entire Airplay top 100 :P With the airplay data included :) The TV Airplay chart is not featured inside the newsletter  xox.
November 21, 200816 yr I'm thinking of subscribing, if they do manage to get it together.Pity it doesn't include airplay charts though. The "UK Airplay 100" chart and the Official UK Download Top 40 chart are included in ChartsPlus. I particularly like the Top 200 and the "Year To Date" Charts - ChartsPlus simply must return soon! :)
November 21, 200816 yr Cool, if I can scrape the money together, I'll subscribe when it's relaunched. That said, I hate to say this, but I always thought it was a tiny bit expensive...
November 21, 200816 yr Cool, if I can scrape the money together, I'll subscribe when it's relaunched. That said, I hate to say this, but I always thought it was a tiny bit expensive...for an annual subscription it works out at just under £2 per issue, which is very good value for what you get.
