The 'Babes are performing on the Strictly results show this Sunday! Big promo! :D It's the first televised performance of Girls; can't wait to see it sung with the full band.

Ooooooh wow! Prepare yourself for a funky night!

Cant wait for them at the MOBO's but it gets like second to no viewers so its not that much help but nice for a live performance.

Haha. ^_^ I'm not sure what it is. The description says it's an interview but it also says the programme lasts for an hour... we shall see. All this promo over the next couple of weeks should keep Girls strong though. McFly shot up on iTunes after their Al Murray performance this week too, I think a fair few people watch that even though it's a bloody awful show LOL.

They just performed it on T4. It was a really good performance; all 3 girls sounded great, especially Amelle, they harmonised well and looked like they were having a lot of fun. Should help things out a bit. I'll add youtube links when it appears!

They MIMED :(

Why oh why?! I hope its live on SCD tonight otherwise i think i may officially hate everything about this single.

! They didn't mime! They had the backing track on and Keisha's adlibs were playing whilst she sang the main chorus, that is all. It was NOT mimed.

LOL it was mimed, trust me! Amelle was the one that gave it away for me and then when Keisha did her part perfectley it just confirmed it! Look at the part where Amelle sings the last line of the 2nd verse and Heidi sings an extra few words with her mic up - no sound comes from her until a few lines later proving that their mics werent switched on.

It was a pre-recorded vocal and i have a fear that they may use it on SCD tonight :(

Well I'm watching again on C4+1 in five so I'll see. Definitely didn't notice any of that though...

Just watched it again and as far as I can see it was live. :/ I'm nearly always right when it comes to spotting mimed performances too. I think a backing track was used underneath the live vocals on the chorus and possibly Keisha's verse too, but it wasn't mimed...

So you're saying Keisha's verse WAS mimed?! Because to me it was, all of it was. Amelle mimed SO badly and you cant say that you didnt see Heidi come in too early but not actually hear anything! Also there was a clearly pre-recorded ad-lib by Heidi in the third chorus. It was all mimed but i may be right in saying that Heidi did sing live on the chorus. The last chorus sounds the same as the first even though Keisha is meant to be singing ad-libs (therefore taking a voice away from the balance) further proving that it was mimed.

Maybe it will change for tonight, although most people cant spot miming so it might not matter anyway. But to me, it just makes me wonder what the hell is going on with them at the moment.

Well even if it was mimed, it wouldn't make me wonder that because I saw them on tour this year and all three girls were sporting incredible live vocals. However, I'm NOT saying Keisha's verse or any of it was mimed - I'm saying some if it was sung completely live, and some was sung live but over the backing track (so two sets of vocals - backing track and live). That's why the first and third choruses sound the same - the adlibs in the chorus were played on the backing track so the 'here comes the girls' and 'girls! girls!' bits could be sung live over the top.

Im not disputing that they're really good live (well Amelle and Keisha are amazing) im just saying that them miming isnt adding to the fact that this project isnt exactly their best in terms of song, video, management and now live performances.

Here's to SCD in 4 hours...

Well indeed. This will be the really important one; it might make or break the single potentially.
