I thought Getmany would do quite well in the tournament, but their defence is awful, and without a good defence theres no way they''ll win the World Cup.

The reason it was good and open was that the defences were c**p.

I didn't even made a prediction, that was a thrilling opening game. England need to win their group to avoid playing Germany, if Germany win their group, in the next round.

 

And as for Jupiter's question, I can't remember, I think Brazil played the opening game in the last toturnament

I wouldn't be too bothered about playing Germany TBH. They've got a c**p defence which our strikers would exploit and even though their strike force is good, our defence is better IMO.

When the World Cup was held in France the time before last the opening match was Brazil v Scotland ( because Brazil had won in the US the time before that).

Yeah they did, as I can remeber becuase the first game was when Senegal beat France.
