WONDERFUL goal by Coley. The link up between him and Ashley has been the highlight for England so far, as well as Rooneys strong possesion-holding play. England look unstable though, which is never a good sign, if Kallstrom or Larsonn catch Terry and Rio on the break then they could easily score.

 

They need to sort out the Crouch / Rooney play though. It's tough seen as they've clearly not been working on a Crouch / Rooney tactic but it needs to be sorted and soon.

England's first half performance was the best so far of the tournament.

 

Joe Cole & Owen Hargreaves have been outstanding.

Yeah, credit where it's due, Hargreaves has played EXCELLENT link-up play.

Got to admit I doubted Sven decision to play Hargreaves. He's been very good for England so far though, although he does give away meaningless free kicks a lot of the time.

Played class in the first half, ****ing $h!te in the second and all of the defence should be ****ing sacked a year's wages for that last goal. What the f*ck were they doing, watching the ball. F*cksake.

AWFUL. We keep sugarcoating our mistakes. Oh, it's the three points that matters, we may have played dreadfully but we still won, then oh Crouch didn't look too good but at least he still scored and now oh we only drew but we've still finished top of the group. IT HAS TO STOP.

 

Defensively we were utterly DIRE and considering we had five in midfield I barely noticed ANY of them. Crouch didn't play too well either but it's not his fault. It's been tried and tested and Crouch DOES NOT work well up front on his own. Yet if Sven continues to play him that way then there's not much he can do about it.

Totally agree with the fact on Crouch. Its being tried before and it just doesn't work.

 

I still can't belive Sven though. Walcott needed to play some part in the group stage but he didn't. There's no way Sven could play Walcott against Argentina, Holland etc as he doesn't have any experience.
