Rachel Stevens has revealed that she wants to impress Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman on this week's show.

 

The singer has failed to receive positive comments from Goodman in recent weeks, with both her Waltz and last week's Jive attracting criticism. She and dance partner Vincent Simone will perform an American Smooth on Saturday.

 

"We're thinking of bribing Len this week," she told Claudia Winkleman on spinoff It Takes Two.

 

"It would be fantastic or him to really love the performance. That would be great."

 

The former S Club star also revealed that she was happy with her dance last Saturday.

 

"We had a good week. We had loads of fun. I felt like I had fun. That was my goal," she said.

 

Simone agreed: "It was the first time I saw the sparkle in Rachel's eyes. She really came out and performed. Bloody Len. I love him, but the last few weeks there's been something wrong with him."

Rachel was in the bottom 2 tonight, but survived as Heather Small was voted off in what was her 4th dance off. Please make sure you keep voting for rachel to make sure she stays on in strictly for a long time.

Rachel Stevens has admitted that it was "horrible" to learn that her Strictly Come Dancing rival John Sergeant is more popular than her.

 

The former S Club star and her dance partner Vincent Simone were in the dance-off last weekend after failing to pick up viewer support, while Sergeant and Kristina Rihanoff continued to be backed by the public.

 

Judge Bruno Tonioli has since criticised supporters of Sergeant, while the rest of the panel are said to be "incredulous" over his popularity.

 

Asked to join the debate in an interview with The Mirror, Stevens revealed: "Erm, it's not frustrating. It's more... it's just horrible.

 

"You know, John's having his own personal journey just as much as anyone else. He's having a good time. He's very entertaining and lovable. He's just himself and I think people connect with that. And all this fuss might be helping him win more votes."

 

She added: "No, no. I can't think about that kind of thing. All Vincent and I can do is concentrate on what we're doing and performing the best we can. I don't want to be in that dance-off again. I'm always really nervous at that part of the show because you never know what's going to happen."

Rachel Tops The Table.

 

Rachel was back on form tonight, scoring 39 points from the judges, including gaining the first 10 judge Arlene Phillips Awarded. However she still needs the public support to stay in the competition, so please please please pick up the phone and vote for Rachel to stay in. Last week Rachel ended up in the dance off, we don't want to see her there again, so despite her being top with the judges please please rember to vote for her.
