I've just had to throw one of Alfie's favourite toys away :cry:

 

He's got a stuffed giraffe that he loves, but he's too protective of it and growls when Marley is around it, so that stays in the drawers and i only let him play with it when i'm there.

We went to chester zoo a few months ago and i got him another stuffed giraffe and he loves that too, but he doesnt growl about that one, so i let him play with it as much as he likes, he even sleeps with it (yes i have seen him pick it up in his mouth and get into his bed with it :lol: ) :wub:

 

He has played with it & bitten it soo much that there are holes in it now and all its stuffing is coming out :nocheer: so its not safe for him to play with it now, and i've had to throw it away :cry:

Awww, that's so sad.

Perhaps get Alfie a new toy?

They both have millions of toys :lol: but the giraffes are always his favourite......are cats supposed to have a favourite animal? he has just been sitting on the settee like a human....hes so f***ing weird :lol: :heart:

Purring scares you?? i think its one of the most beautiful sounds in the world :wub: i only have to look at Alfie & he's purring, hes the happiest cat in the world, he makes me purr :wub:

 

@ Aidan, i get cuddles from Alfie every night, he curls up beside me eventually and goes to sleep, then i cant move and end up with dead legs from being still for so long :lol:

Aww, that must be so sweet to have every night. I think I might get myself a cat, I had one a few years back, but she died. :(

Glad you and Alfie and I presume Marley is not being left out here are all having a good time.

 

Perhaps get the zoo shop to do 2 for the price of one on the stuffed giraffes?

Marley is never left out, but i'm a lot closer to Alfie than Marley.

 

Alfie is my best little friend, and he has made moving away from home so much easier for me. Aidan you should get a little kitty :wub:

I definitely will, I love the idea of having a cat again. I should be able to get a kitty this week, I have enough money for it. I'll just need to check if I have enough money to buy nice toys and things like that for it. :D

And the idea of 2 stuffed giraffes for the price of one? :lol:
