took me a while to get into it myself though

I really respect him for trying something different, this is a rather good track. At least the genre is finally beginning to move forward a bit lately.

I must say not only has 'Up' grown on me to the point of obsession but the album is pretty damn good. Outstrips the Sugababes' latest effort easily. Maybe they'll be able to hang around for a while after all :o

Loving the chart run! At this rate it will be in another 33 weeks... :)

That is extremely impressive for The Saturdays. I reckon they will make it one more week in the top 10 and 4 weeks in there is a massive acheivement for a new girlband.

I laugh at the people that are listening to the chart, they think Guru Josh is at #1 or whatever, where on earth have they been in the past week. Don't they know its the X Factor track, its been in the papers and everywhere.
It's not too bad this remix. But who the hell is Rock Mafia anyway?

Though Tennessee's Kings of Leon are a rock band from the south, that doesn't mean they're a Southern Rock band. The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV

Album Discussion

Woo! Fro Saturdays and Katy Perry!!

And to think many thought Up wouldn't even grace the top 10, and that it would quickly bomb out the charts.

This has really grown on me since it came out, and I barely even knew who KOL were before. But Use Somebody is AMAZING
Surprisingly BIG hit for Kings Of Leon imo. Still in the top 5 after 8 weeks :o
