MINI REVIEW FROM BB: Circus - a completely odd yet amazing song, lots of sound effects, with a bridge of guitars similar to "and then we kiss", catchy chorus, hard to interprit lyrics but very cool out from under: sweet ballad, guitar and vocals, almost acoustic, with bongo drum effects in the background if you seek amy: only way i can describe it, similar into to Pink's "so what", very self-loving song, muted instrumentals through verses until chorus, very addictive tune, good backing instruments! top tune! unusual you: vocals with beating (quiet) bass drum, and quick electronic piano sounds in bridge, not a dancy track, yet not a ballad, very good song, and unusual 1 minute clips of all the tracks on the promo disc have leaked including Circus, If You Seek Amy, Out From Under, Unusual You, and Kill The Lights. :o I LOOOOOVE THE LYRICS. Everyone has said the album sounds like a a more mature dark side of Blackout, and a more mature In The Zone hybrid. :D
November 12, 200816 yr 'If You Seek My Amy' is hilarious. :lol: The clips all sound pretty good; I look forward to hearing the full version of 'Circus'. Other than the bridge we heard, I wasn't too impressed by that song.

November 12, 200816 yr From the clips: Circus - This will sound amazing in full HQ, really love this though the synths over power her on the chorus - 9/10 Out From Under - Really love the sound of this, does indeed sound like Everytime crossed with Im Not A Girl... - 8.5/10 Kill The Lights - Like the verses, not fond of the chorus - 6/10 If You Seek Amy - Radar Part 2 imo but weaker and sounds quite demo like in this clip, chorus sounds great - 7.5/10 Unusual You - First listen bleh, second listen ooh its pretty good, third listen = amazing. Certainly one of Bloodshy & Avants best tracks, would be a great single choice :wub: - 9.5/10 Nothing is quite as good as 'Piece Of Me', 'Radar' or 'Toy Solder' from the clips but still great stuff overall. November 12, 200816 yr I think Conor is deaf. :kink: KILL THE LIGHTS IS f***ING AMAZING. I was quite dissapointed with it especially after getting my hopes up that the instrumental youtube video would be the song. The verses are great with her voice sounding natural again, the build-up to the chorus is amazing then she seems to dissapear off the song for the chorus. Listening to 'Unusual You' clip again i have to say i was wrong, its grown after 3 listens to amazing :wub:
November 13, 200816 yr Well, Unusual You sounds IN-CRED-IBLE. Can't wait for that one. Really liking Out From Under too. Circus sounds decent - it has a really unusual structure going by that clip, a verse, a bridge and two choruses. :heehee: Not at all typical Dr Luke though. Kill The Lights is decent, If U Seek Amy sounds messy.
