November 17, 200816 yr .....It will be charting no where at this rate because they haven't friggin added it YET! :arrr:
November 17, 200816 yr They are absolute imbeciles!! Apparently they are not releasing the deluxe on UK itunes or digitally because they want people to get the album, they are releasing 'run' and the deluxe digitally on the 8th of december       Sorry but are her management trying to drive people away in the current climate? Run could have been massive this week  There’s a new news item on the official saying that the Deluxe is out in stores now and available digitally on 8 December. I think I get it now. They want people to buy the album and those who want Run only will have to wait until December… They’ve probably decided that after the reaction it got on the back of The X Factor performance that they can now release it as a single in its own right. That’s probably what she meant in those interviews when she said she’d be doing a few performances on TV and “see how it goes”.
November 17, 200816 yr BTW, Run is #1 on irish itunes since last night... Has anyone got popularity bars for that? What a shame for the UK. Idiots! Edited November 17, 200816 yr by utoia2004
November 17, 200816 yr 8th of december!!! The xfactor vibe will have worn off by then. Take that will be out too (can i also point out that i absoluetly love TT's new song now - its really good)

November 17, 200816 yr Wont chart now... Itll be lucky to get #1 on 8th of december when take that is out. Such a ridiculous decision. Edited November 17, 200816 yr by utoia2004
November 17, 200816 yr Spirit - Deluxe Edition out today!! At last, the wait is over. Spirit - The Deluxe Edition is in stores today. Alongside the original tracklisting, The Deluxe Edition also boasts Leona's fabulous current single 'Forgive Me', new track 'Misses Glass', and her beautiful cover of 'Run' (as featured on The X Factor this weekend). All this, plus the package also comes complete with a DVD featuring all Leona's official music videos, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the making of 'Forgive Me'. Find Spirit - The Deluxe Edition in stores now, and out on download from 8th December. Great c**k up
November 17, 200816 yr I don't see how it's a c**k-up at all. They realise after saturday that there's now huge demand for this song and are making it so they only way to get it is to buy the album (and therefore spend about 12 times as much, so even if only 1/12 people who would've bought it buy the album they'll still win). That's good management, not a c**k-up!

That's good management, not a c**k-up! Fully understand what they're trying to do, it's the UK version of Kid Rock in the States, but the British are far more cynical and this is just pouring a huge amount of good will down the drain for the sake of a few thousand album sales, when it has already shifter the best part of 5 million worldwide. In the grand scheme of things it's a crass move by SonyBMG/Syco.

I dont believe many will just get the album as they could go and get SP's version instead. Her management are forgetting theres already a version out there and many people dont care as long as the lyrics are the same its already rising up itunes. Edited November 17, 200816 yr by utoia2004

The majority of people I've heard talk about it aren't big fans of the Snow Patrol version and those that are will already have it.
November 17, 200816 yr Author Don't agree. The majority of people I've heard talk about it aren't big fans of the Snow Patrol version and those that are will already have it. But surely you see this is causing a major loss of goodwill for the sake of a few thousand album sales? And with 5 million already sold it's the equivalent of spitting in a bucket. Why should Leona's UK fanbase hang around and watch "newcomers" get immediate access to the track while their options are to either rebuy the songs they already own or wait another three weeks? And that's without mentioning the immediate digital release across Europe. In effect they're being penalised for having invested most in her career. And then there's the loss of sales from those who would have bought it as a single track but have no interest in the album. It's a cynical and short-termist move and leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.

I 100% agree, I actually think her fans will Start to lose faith, especially as it has been released in Ireland earlier it's totally unfair. I have a sneaky feeling that it may miss the top 5 when Run's released later on..I mean Everyone who is desperate for it would have brought the album and a fair few would have downloaded illegally plus The X-Factor effect would have completely worn off! Good One SONY BMG! :puke2:
November 17, 200816 yr Why does iTunes take so long to put new releases on? Still can't find Dido, Leona, Beyonce - 2 of the biggest releases and no sign of them? iTunes are very unreliable and don't always meet to public demand
November 17, 200816 yr The official Leona site has updated now and says it's available on 1st December, not the 8th. Only two weeks away now, not the end of the world but still a pain.
