E4 has announced the new characters that will be introduced in the upcoming third season of its popular teen drama Skins, says Last Broadcast.

 

Tony Stonem's younger sister Effy (Kaya Scodelario) and her best friend Pandora (Lisa Backwell) will be the only existing cast members to appear in the third series next year.

 

The new additions to the girls' lineup are Katie and Emily, twins with contrasting personalities, and the idealistic Naomi.

 

The boys are comprised of the charismatic Cook (Jack O'Connell), skateboarding stoner Freddie, magician J.J., and Thomas, who struggles to settle in the UK after arriving from Congo.

 

Harry Enfield, Morwenna Banks and Geoffrey Hughes will return for guest appearances, along with new guest stars Scott Mills, Mackenzie Crook, Sally Phillips and James Fleet.

I think that's the nail in the coffin for me. I dunno wether I can be arsed with Skins anymore, it was pretty bad last season, and they had the ORIGES even then. Series 1 will never be topped.

Series One was fxcking immense..

 

 

Im still hoping Series three will be good, I'm reserving judgement before I say it's $h!te until it's on. ;o

I liked Series 2 :( Well only coz of my fave eppy evah when Michelle moved in with her mum's new husband and that big breastest t*** and then they went camping aha <3

 

But yeah so far it does sound a little dodge, but I'll give it a chance at least.

Pandora was introduced in Season 2. The girl who Effy went to that club with and Pandora was all "Do you have any toilet paper?" and Effy was like "No" when she had all those packagez behind her.

 

I did like Season 2, but this sounds a bit...urgh.

Interesting. Will watch before I reserve judgement.

Skins is the epitome of the phrase 'UP THY OWN ARSE'.

 

God knows why I ever liked this, it's fucking terrible. I rewatched series one a while back and I dunno if I've just grown up but it had me largely think WTF all the way through. Conceited to the max, outlandish and vv crude in parts. Awful show.

I agree Cass. Season one was decent but the second one was just bafflingly bad. I don't get how people could have liked it. Oh so many things wrong with it =|

You moany sods! Give it a bloody go before you start laying into it. Don't some of you think that if Season 2 was so poor a change, with an all-new cast, might've been exactly what was needed? Oh noo, you can't gasm over Maxxie anymore, what will you do?!?

I've read good things about this series, but well, I dunno whether i'll stick watching it after the first eppy...

I'm actually really looking forward to this, even if I'm the only one!

i'm not even going to bother, last series was $h!t and now thinking back even though i liked it at the time first series was $h!t.

Have to agree with the posts made.

Killing off Chris was really the nail in the coffin for Series 2 which was dire compared to the great first series.

 

Seen the new trailr and they just look like a bunch of unlikeable bigheaded chavs ugh.
