Girls Aloud to strike big bucks deal

GIRLS ALOUD are to ink a big bucks new record deal this week to seal their future as a pop force to be reckoned with.

I can reveal that a hefty new contract has been drawn up for multiple albums and tours.

A source said: “Girls Aloud are bigger than ever what with their latest album Out Of Control and single The Promise both going straight in at No 1 in the charts.

“Both their label Fascination and the band themselves are delighted at how things are going and are keen to keep the good times rolling.

“There’s been a load of false rumours suggesting this will be the band’s final album and that the girls are planning solo careers. This news will finally put those rumours to rest.”

Six years into their career, Cheryl, 25, Nicola, 23, Sarah, 27, Kimberley, 26, and Nadine, 23, are bigger than ever.

Now they’ve come to the end of their original deal for five albums, it’s decision time – and I’m really thrilled they’re sticking around.

Tickets for their 2009 Out Of Control arena tour sold like hot cakes when they were released on Friday and extra dates are being quickly lined up.

Your Daily Star has been behind the feisty fivesome since day one and never doubted their ability to claw their way to the top.

I championed the girls to win a Brit Award last year, and even though they just missed out on the Best British Band gong, just seeing them nominated alongside acts like eventual winners Arctic Monkeys was a big deal for the power of pop.

My source added: “There will have been a lot of labels holding their breath til Girls Aloud came out of their deal, but they’re committed to the team around them and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere.”

 Thats great. I do wonder how long off that dreaded split is though?
Well it says there that it will be a fair few years doesnt it?
its great to read something like this for a change as usually its all about them splitting up,,,the girls can last as long as they like and i think they could have at least 5 albums left in them,,sticking together is best as if they look as previous girl groups or even boybands to splpit none of them succeed apart from robbbie williams,,and from a fans point of view i hope they never split and do a bananrama and stay around for years,,,if the album tours and singles etc are selling there is no need to split
Daily Star? Are we really believing this? Even if they resign doesn't neccessarily mean there'll be any albums for a few years...

I dont get you? GA have released an album every year, i dont think that tradition will be stopped.

i want to believe it but it's the Daily Star  If the Star said the opposite I wouldn't belive it  I wouldn't even wrap my fish and chips up in the Daily Star :heehee:

If I start to see it on other sources too then I'll be running around in joy :D

Well at least we know we have another 2 albums at least from them as Sarah said, although she said even more can be made if there is a need - which there is!
It's only been 2 albums since the last one though, so thats rather unlikely really.
