new trail:

looks amazing, possibly the film i am looking forward to most this year, the best thing about that trailer though is the amazing song that is in the background.

He's a good actor, but has a bit of a rep for being rather intense and has a hell of a temper.... He kind of has a point in a way though, you shouldn't really have people just meandering around on a film set, surely the Director of Photography should be looking at the monitors or making sure his cameraman is in the right position.. Just sounds like he's having a 'bad day at the office' really

Looking forward to this and Star Trek, Star Trek is out 2 weeks before Terminator.

Nah, it's getting universally p*** poor reviews. Good special effects, no emotion / creativity / etc. I'm seeing this tomorrow though. ;o I'll judge for myself.

Yeah, well, frankly, I always had my doubts about McG being the director tbh.... I dont rate him at all as film-maker.... Okay, he might have done one or two interesting things with the first Charlie's Angels film, but Charlies Angels was always supposed to be lightweight, brainless fizz anyway, even in the 70s it was kinda cr@ppy..... Terminator, on the other hand, is (or rather, was) a legendary franchise until that godawful third film which James Cameron and Linda Hamilton totally disowned.... The TV show is great, full of ideas and creativity.. I'll be severely disappointed if the film is a big let-down.....

I'd've liked the new Terminator film to have been done by J J Abrams to be honest, the guy knows how to re-invigorate a franchise.... He did wonders for Mission Impossible (his was the best out of the three films by a mile...) and his recent Star Trek film was excellent by anyone's standards..... Either Abrams or some Japanese sci-fi anime director like Mamuro Oshii or Katsushiro Otomo.....

I believe McG directed Disturbia which is a REALLY good film! One of Shia LeBoufs (sp??) finest films (Y)

However thats the only film by McG that i have seen (or that comes to mind atm) and i cant generalize a directors work based on one film...

Disturbia was even better when Alfred Hitchcock directed it and it was called "Rear Window"......

agreed anything Abrams touches turns to gold really.

all im gonna say in this film is what Rob Sheridan tweeted: "So funny seeing friends' all-caps tweets saying "T4 IS $h!t DO NOT SEE IT!" ProTip: Good director = good movie. Bad director = bad movie."

Saw this on Saturday. Actually wasn't AS awful as I was expecting, but it was a typical action movie. All about the CGI / special effects (which were quite good) with little substance or plot. It was entertaining though.
Wow this movie was amazing, finally robots that look real.. transformers kills me

Went to an advance screening and it was so so disappointing :( It was OK by all means but with being a big fan of the whole Terminator series (bar film 3 obv) it just sucked.

The first bad movie I have actually seen Christian Bale in. He is a utter legend but still not enough to carry this movie. Can't believe another one is already planned. Gutting.

I think the same. I'm disappointed by what i watched. I wanted this movie to be really interesting with dynamic story. <_<
I'm going to go to watch this tomorrow and see what all the fuss is about, I'm still tempted to hold out though for the DVD to come out.
