Xmas TOTP never has that week's chart, just the number 1 which everyone knew would be Alexandra.

 

They've been filming the Xmas and New Year shows together over a series of three tapings - Alex taped it on Sunday the day after she won alongside Coldplay, Adele, Sam Sparro and the cast of Mama Mia.

 

Wednesday evening (12th) was Leona Lewis, Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls, Geraldine/Peter Kay, Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris, Gabriella Cilmi and Keane.

 

Acts on Wednesday afternoon (12th) included Take That, Duffy and McFly. The Xmas show will be mainly these live performances and the New Year show a mix of live and taped segments (videos, news etc) - some acts performed two songs one for each show.

I'd actually like Cowell if he took over TOTP. We need it back I think.

I shan't be watching this though mainly because I'll be too busy but also because hearing Fearne Cotton and that other prune every Sunday is bad enough but having to look at their retarded faces as well? No thanks.
