ROBBIE IN, DAN OUT FOR SI DREAM TEAM

It looks like Simon has decided on his dream line-up and is determined that’s what he will get

A source

17th December 2008

By Emma Wall

Dannii Minogue is to be sacked as an X Factor judge to make way for superstar singer Robbie Williams.

She has already been shunted down the panel for newcomer Cheryl Cole to sit next to show supremo Simon Cowell.

Now the Daily Star can exclusively reveal Simon is on the brink of bringing together his dream team for next year – Simon, Cheryl, Louis Walsh and Robbie.

The 34-year-old singer is moving back to England from his four-year exile in Los Angeles to join the show.

Simon is determined to give the panel even more pop star quality after Girls Aloud babe Cheryl, 25, wowed fans.

Having another man on board would also stop claims of cat-fighting between the female judges.

And X Factor supremo Simon, 49, is ready to offer Cheryl a £3million, three- year deal.

Her protégé Alexandra Burke, 20, won the show, and Cheryl won fans with her emotional reaction to contestants.

Louis, 56, did well with JLS so his job is safe. But Cheryl dodged questions about whether she would be back when she was quizzed on the Xtra Factor last weekend.

She said they should ask again “after Christmas”.

A source said: “It looks like Simon has decided on his dream line-up and is determined that’s what he will get.

“He’s used to getting his own way so he’ll be going all out to get Cheryl. Getting Robbie would also be an amazing coup – he’s a megastar.”

But Dannii, 37, denied she is to be axed and said: “The producers and Simon tell me I am returning, so that’s all I believe. So unless I hear differently then I’ll be back.”

A spokesperson for the show insisted: “No decisions have been made about contracts and no decisions will be made until next year.

“It’s all speculation.”

How laughable. Firsly 4 years in LA? Thought in moved there in 2001? Can't they count?

Also, if Simon seriously think Robbie would do the X Factor he has an even bigger head than I thought. He'll be luck if he even agrees to perform on it next year, let alone judge it and have to sit beside the vile creature that is Louis Walsh. :puke:

Oh I dunno. Robbie is a huge X Factor fan. It's something I wouldn't put past him. Daft as he is.

This story is all over the web today

Is it really likely though? X-Factor season runs from about Sept-Dec. And with a new album forecast for release in September? How is he going to promote his new album all over the world if he's X-Factoring?

Then again, he didn't promote his last album so who knows

Could be he's releasing an album in autumn, that way he can promote it all over Europe and fly back to England when they need him as a judge.

If it's something he really enjoys doing, he will find the time for it ^_^

Would be great to see him on the X-Factor. He'd be the best mentor there! (No, he really would).
