i have been on a few websites and they have tickets onsale for a june 19th date in france....surely this would be legite ryt?? as they ar selling uk shows too?

 

 

I would only buy them through an official site...Has Britney's official site in France listed this?

PETA Praises Britney For Not Using Animals On Tour

Say What? PETA reveals to RadarOnline.com that they will send a "Thank You" note and flowers to the ever-resurrecting princess of pop for choosing to lead an animal-less Circus Tour--The Pussycat Dolls excluded!

 

In November PETA sent the poptart a letter requesting she leave live animals out of all Circus Tour promotional plans.

 

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk just released this exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com:

 

 

"PETA praises Britney for embracing modern animal-free circuses like Cirque du Soleil which spotlight human creativity and talents instead of forcing chained and beaten exotic animals to perform confusing and uncomfortable tricks as they do in one of those outdated Ringling Bros. shows. Now Britney won't risk winding up in court on cruelty charges, while Ringling is in court this week over serious allegations of repeated mistreatment of elephants."

No, there will be another act opening for the other dates. They have their own tour kicking off in the UK after this.

I think PCD will be the UK support - their UK tour for the Domination tour was January 18th - Februrary 6th, now they're in Europe until the 25th Feb, then back to the States in time for Britney's North America Support. Their own tour doesn't resume until May 16th in Australia, which ends on May 30th. Just in time for them to make it back to the UK for the London and Manchester dates in June. And the tour has been advertised in e-mails to fans in the UK for London and Manchester dates with the PCD logo on them...

Yeah, it doesn't sound like there will be a separate opening act for the UK dates. It probably would've been mentioned already if the opening act was not PCD.

Britney Gets Magical On Stage!

 

BRITNEY SPEARS has hired the services of an illusionist to make sure her comeback concerts next month (Mar09) really are magic.

The pop star has been working with top TV magician Ed Alonzo - and she'll have a few tricks up her sleeve, literally. Alonzo tells In Touch Weekly, "She’ll be singing, dancing and doing illusions at the same time."

 

Meanwhile, the singer has been rehearsing eight hours a day, often in a string bikini, to perfect her dance moves with Indian choreographer Rujuta. He says, "Britney is a perfectionist." Rujuta reveals Spears is planning a Bollywood-inspired duet with Madonna.
