Looking at the pre-release charts in music week - i see that it looks like the KOL album has already got a special edition re-issue listed..already even goldfrapp and bloc party waited some months before re-issuing their albums....(tho in those cases it was annoyingly a re-issue and extended version of the limited editions)

well i suppose that maybe alright as I didnt see any first day limited editions of that album in the shop - so unlike bloc party and goldfrapp it wont be more like a speedy re-issue of the original LE/deluxe edition - which is even worse esp seeing that those albums came out on supposed indie labels (tho Mute is obv owned by EMI)

Re-issues can be a bit annoying if you bought it when it first came out.

Sometimes the extras don't mean it's worth it. :(

Pathetic really. 'Special Edition' versions seriously fleece the fan and should be avoided. Labels wonder why people are pissed off with buying their CDs - is this any wonder?

and at least ryan adams and coldplay had their albums re-issued with the second disc that was also put out with the bonus tracks as an ep for those who had bought it already - didnt mind that (tho glasvegas xmas must have been limited to about 50 copies as could i find it in the shop without buying the album that i already bought on cd/dvd - could i hell as like)
