I have to say I like Gareth Gates but I bought his album 'Pictures Of The Other Side' for 50p in the Woolies closing down sale and its shocking - Glad I didn't pay more for it! :heehee:

 

Oh there were loads of albums for 50p in my local Woolies but none of Gareth's. You were lucky.

I just wish he had released Lost In You, a more upbeat track from that album http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0XPxRQCJLFM.

 

My Stiles and Drewe still hasn't arrived from Amazon :( but I was lucky enough to see the actual performance on stage and I was quite surprised at how Gareth's voice had matured (not sure if surprised is the right adjective, the guy is now 23/24). Whatever the right word, he still gave a great performance and received a great reception.

Glass Slippers is Gareth's solo song, and he is featured (briefly) in You Shall Go to the Ball, so it's interesting they picked a bit including him. :wub: The Joy of Motherhood was one of my favourite non-Gareth songs on the CD, so I'm glad they've featured that too, although the clip they chose isn't the best bit IMO, lol.

Gareth gets some really good praise in this review of the CD.

I must say I do agree with the writer. His voice was truly amazing on these songs. `Gypsies of the Ether'and `Glass Slipper' in particular.
