Randomly no topic for this (even for its US release). Anyway, this brilliant single from The Veronicas has just started taking off quite massively in the US. Big radio gains and now top 50 on US iTunes. Australian Electro-Pop being a hit (?!!) If it continues making these big gains then I wouldn't be surprised to see them finally release something here. It's been too long...

 

I find it so odd. Of all the things to take off in the US, 'Untouched' is really pretty average. Their singles are so hit-and-miss for me. 'This Love' is an absolute gem, and this 'This Is How It Feels'/'I Cant Stay Away'/'Popular' off the album are all great too, plus 4Ever off the first record obviously. This and 'Take Me on the Floor' are just a bit meh though.

I was never that keen on 'Untouched' though, but I hope it does really well as they deserve it. It's such a travesty how they never released anything from the first album here, '4ever' really would have been huge. :(

Actually, Hook Me Up had no poor songs on it come to think of it. o_o Stunning pop album.

I adore everything they do, the first album showed up most pop/rock acts and the second album is stunning electro-pop, Untouched is fantastic :wub:

Untouched and This Love are easily their best singles. Not surprised to see this take off in the US. It hasnt really taken off in Europe though, i've seen it in the Belgian bubbling under chart recently but it dropped out. Hopefully things will be different elsewhere.

This is good news about them actually coming to the UK, although it was bound to happen with how it's taking off in the US. 'Untouched' has grown on me a bit.
