I think its top 3 without a doubt! Possibly number 1, but people downloading early may stop that...

and OMG at that video!! maybe my fave vid ever from them!!! and my fave song right now :D

Haven't seen the video yet (can't view YouTube at work) but it's a stunning song. Really hoping number 1, but top 3 would still be great :)

Love this, its their best stand out track on their album, plus anything with Pet Shop Boys its bound to be a hit. Its got #1 written all over it, plus its released early Jan when the singles market is pretty dead.

Kim has got Breasts :kink:

I'm sticking my neck out and saying no1. The Promise's sales were unprecedented so it seems they're winning a lot of new fans and this is at least as good. The video is nice and very stylish, but it's quite derivative and doesn't add much to the song, in fact it seems to make it more repetitive somehow! January sales are traditionally quiet though, and hardly anything else is even released that week, so unless XF winner holds on, GA will be no1 :) Only other threat is their high album sales thus far, many people may already have the song on OOC and not bother. Do a B-side/radio mix please Girls!

Edit: Ok, part of the reason it seemed more repetitive is apparently there is a single/video mix which is a little dancier. A little less keen on that, and is Nic singing a bit in the middle Nadine was doing before btw?

Also, we are getting a B-side called "Japan"? Well done Girls, my hitlist is satisfied i will happily buy away now

i like this video version, it seems more danceable than the album version

Difficult to say, 1 2 or 3 wouldnt surprise me, its all about what else is out (which doesnt appear to be much really).

They are doing a cd and a ltd edition 7" and i think they may just clinch no1 because of the massive fanbase they seem to have developed recently.

Video is their best yet but like someone said, its obvious they will lose a lot of sales in early downloads.

Yeh the intro has changed but if you listen closely, that sound has been incorporated throughout the whole song. It'll be easier to hear when HQ is out.

Just realised the track clashes with Lady GaGa that week, and I wouldn't be surprised it be the first #1 of 2009 :puke2:
I'm may be a bit pessimistic but I'd say top5 for this, it can help the albums to sell loooats though ^_^

Top 3

Lady GaGa is also out that week. Amazing song though, miles better than 'The Promise' ^_^
